Hun, Don't worry about how long your videos are, they are wonderful. Some people pay good money in much longer classes to learn what you are teaching. I have been working with, selling, and teaching classes in polymer clay for the last 20 years and I have to say you do some beautiful work. If you are ever concerned with the length of your videos you can always do some jump cuts over the parts that are not vital to creating whatever you are making. Let me shut up now. I talk to much. Take care, Dee
Thank you so much! That is very supportive :) I don't think you talk too much. You can write any time. I do hope that people do read your posts, like the suggestion you made in the mold idea tutorial. Heather
Hi Heather, your video wasn't too long at all, i'm glad you put in all together, I have made bowls but they turned out lopsided. I like the idea of the marble, thanks, everything you make looks amazing, I love the way you made the spoon, thanks again, Debbie
I have really enjoyed all of your tutorials and feel that you are a wonderful teacher. They are detailed enough for newbies and creative enough for experts. Not every person learns something the same way and your details are great.....keep up the excellent tutorials ;)
Honey I don't care if your video is long I love it all in one. You are a great teacher and you make it look so simple. I'm so glad you made the spoon. Love your videos! Adore.
Sorry about the short last reply. I am trying to catch up by phone, and am having computer issues. I love using glass pebbles and marbles for forming as much as I can :)
Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video! I found it to be very clear and easy to understand as a newbie to the polymer clay world. I also like that you give the measurements for the amount of clay you used for each item; it can be tough to determine how much was used when watching videos. My daughter and I have been having fun making food and this will be our next project.
I don't think your amazing tutorials are too long, I really love to watch you work, is so fascinating! Thank you for bringing us such wonderful videos, as always!
YOU are incredible!!! THANK you SO much. I don't know why ANYONE would vote you down except for jealousy. DON'T cut the tutorials down. I LIKE seeing it all in one. NOW that I've discovered you. :) YOU are AWESOME!!
I used to watch you all the time when I was in middle school, I’m about to go to college soon and I’m wondering if you will create more videos? You inspired my passion to create, thank you.
Sorry about the delay - Not much on youtube anymore. I will try to do an update in the next month or so. Not sure if I will be making anymore tutorials or not.
Your welcome :) I tried the sand for sugar cookies, and didn't care for it on sugar cookies, but remembered the look, and knew it would be perfect :) The blueberry cereal sounds really cute. I love blueberries. I hope to do the blueberry muffin soon too. Heather
Thank you so much :) I am sure I will be filming on both. It is my brother in law's new camera. He is letting me borrow it, and said the program he used to change files is a small program he thinks my computer can handle. I filmed a cinnamon roll tutorial tonight. I hope to find the time to do at least one or two more tutorials tomorrow. I haven't done waffles. French toast, donuts, bagels, or the eggs benedict, or bicuits an gravy yet. :(
Sere nity Yes, I miss-spoke. I am not all that comfortable speaking to the camera. You will be happy to know though, that I am no longer having my nails done, thank you for taking the time to watch and comment
:) Thanks Every 2 weeks I change them, and have been making minis for my nails. I will be doing Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland as my next nail theme in 2 weeks :)
Heather Wells Love it! BTW your tutorials are VERY helpful. Makes me want to start working with clay. Can I ask you what was the first thing you ever made in clay? Thanks!
hmm... I got addicted watching Donna Kato as a guest, on a show called Carol Duvall. I picked up some clay, and a book called polymer clay techniques. When I first started I covered pens with polymer clay, and learned marbling. I made faux jade, and create little boxes with roses
Heather Wells Is it from Micheals? White cover? I bought it yesterday :) O! probably dumb question- when you bake the clay into a shape (like the marble for a bowl or pen in clay) do you actually put the object in the oven while its baking? Thank you for answering my questions
Hello again, I don't know if you have ever had this happen but white clay tends to burn faster than other clay colors. So I am always careful about how long I pre-bake white clay if I know it's going back in the oven for a second bake. This is one of the reasons I suggested the heat gun to pre-bake items. This way you can control how much you pre-harden it. Just enough so you can handle it without deforming it. Take care, Dee
Olivia, Whici clay were you using? Premo is nice a strong with some flexibility. Sculpey III is brittle, and will crack easily. I haven't used the other polymer clays. I heard Fimo is the best.
I Thanks for asking. :) I make mostly polymer clay food, but I am am trying to break into mermaids, fairies, and creatures. I also knit, and crochet too though. :) I like to keep my hands busy. It makes me feel productive.
I LOVE your tutorials. They are the easiest to follow with awesome tips! I hope to have finished projects that look as great as yours. Also, how do yo keep your clay so clean?
Lanay Lindsey Thank you so much! I do wipe my hands really well with unscented baby wipes between colors, and make sure to let my hands air dry. I also work on a small stack of white paper, so I can remove the top layer if lint is settling, or clay residue is sticking to it :) If I work with white, I use some white before hand to remove any lint on my hands, and then use my real white :)
Hmm, I would say get items as you need them. or example if you like the smore collection, you only need Premo in three colors, Burnt Umber, White, and Ecru. You probably already have cinnamon at home, and so you would need a clay blade you may want the lucite clay roller (basicaly a rolling pin for clay) then a toothpick, safety pin or needle tool. If they are going to be charms you would need a headpin and split ring. Then you have already started your tool collection. Then as you do more projects you will only need the additional tools / clay for the new project. Eventually as you aquire tools it becomes a pretty inexpensive hobby.
I ADORE your tutorials, please don't think me rude, but granDjules is not the word you are looking for. It is granules, no "D". I love watching your videos, please never stop creating!
can you use instead of the silver powder silver eyeshadow? i use pink eyeshadow for the blushing cheeks for animals or charms with a face b'cause i don't get pink soft pastels 😜

Good!!!
I find fimo soft crumbles way too easy and recommend premo sculpy it much easier to you and I find it dosent crumble
Nillo u can make it softer by adding a little water so it wont crumble and its easier to use..
Fimo soft is good, but fimo effect crumbles ALOT.
I was about to fall asleep while watching this video
I hear I have a soothing voice lol
Sooo cuteee my honey loves fruit loops, so this would be perfect for a keychain. Thanks so much. New subie. =)
The sound quality is better. Your vids I just watched for rainbow snow cone and icea cream are really quiet I can barely hear. This is much better

For the milk, can I use liquid silicone mixed with white paint or white chalk?
Emilie Rondón I haven't worked with silicone, but I wouldn't see why not, as long as you don't cure it again after applying the silicone.
I love the carema (sorry I can't spell good )but i love the nail
