1:40 First, I love the video footage, very professional…. Our first time to Iberostar we did the same thing. We moved over to Coral Level quickly. We just got back from our 3rd trip to Iberostar Cancun June 10 and will only stay in Coral Level. We enjoyed the steakhouse and found out if you get the lobster 🦞 and you are staying in Selection side you have to pay extra 😮. Glad we stay at Coral, everything is included. All restaurants all premium drinks, all food. We just absolutely love Iberostar. It’s a beautiful resort is the most amazing views! New subscriber.
@@jamesfacciolli8061 yes they do have both. A station for omelette will be able to make your eggs as you want them to make. Line can get long so be prepared 😆
@@gracesylvain3857 thank you! Pool isn’t too deep but enough to be comfortable. Selection side has many levels of pools. From kid friendly pool to infinity pool. Coral level is right by the shore and it is probably about 5 feet deep. Wifi is very fast. No issues at all
@@tkm9363 ohhhh thank you so much for the info ? Since I don’t swim I stay and stand only in the pool enjoy the water, view and the weather ☺️ Thanks again 🙏
@@gracesylvain3857 Coral level swimming pool will be perfect for you! I really enjoyed the pool at night as there aren’t too many people and also there’s some entertainment going right next to the pool nearly every night. I believe bar is closed at some point at night but the pool is 24/7.
Nightlife gets more entertaining towards the weekend. Friday night and Saturday nights are the best. During the week days, not as spectacular as the weekend but still is great. Magic shows, karaoke, solo singer, stage singer and whole lot more! There is a lot going on all at the same time, so if one is boring, you can walk to a different part of the resort for a different show. Perks of staying in Coral is that you can attend both Coral and Selection!
@@joshrodriguez4056Pool is open 24-7 but the pool bar closes when it gets too late. Room service is 24/7 only for Coral. I believe the Selection ends their room service by 11 at night. I enjoyed being in the pool at night as it’s quite nostalgic being alone in a large pool.
Drinks aren't included with your stay?! Did that only apply to certain restaurants or at all the bars and restaurants? This is the only video where I've heard this but definitely important to know.
I know! we didn't know until we got there and they showed us a different menu for drinks with price tags. Our waiter was generous enough to sneak a few drinks. (we tipped him good) This applies to restaurants in the resort. Pool bar drinks are included. Compared with Hyatt Ziva, drinks at Iberostar were stronger. At most of all-inclusive resort, drinks are likely to be diluted with water to keep the cost low. We definitely noticed stronger drinks at Iberostar.
@@tkm9363 Well I'm glad I found your channel bc you're the only ones who've mentioned this very important fact and I've watched many videos. Have you found this at other resorts in Cancun? We stayed at Secrets the Vine in Dec 2023 and there was no extra charge for drinks or food anywhere, so I assumed it was the same at every all-inclusive resort.
Are you staying at Selection or CORAL? I believe certain specialty drinks may be extra if you are at Selection. Also, house wine is included but not Chateau Neuf de Pape, nor Moet Chandon........ also true with certain cuts of meat at steak house, but Coral guest were WERE included. Everything changes. As long as they keep up general quality.
I think something is left out. At Iberostar there is a Star Prestige?? club, so THEY have all extras included. SO if you have rented a KIA you shouldn't expect to get a Merc that the princely table is getting. I didn't notice THAT much difference, but if its an issue, buy at duty free coming in the airport. Same with cuts of meat, Coral is included.
Would appear you started out doing a review of Selection then switched over to Coral, pretty good review, albeit not exclusive to Coral. Your fly by of the food at Coral was very quick and zoom zoom. When I stay at Coral I do not go to Selection, why would I pay extra to get less.
Originally our plan was to stay at Selection, but after realizing how inconvenient the Selection was, we had to move to Coral Level and we couldn't be happier!
How was your experience at Selection compare to coral level? It's tempting Coral level's adults only, but it's much more expensive. Do you think it's worth it?
Selection was built in the 90s so you can feel the flaws of architectural mistakes such as sub par sound barriers or consideration of path of route. The building seems to be built based on maximization instead of efficiency. Coral Level however, had considered modern architectural designs as it was only built 5 years ago. so things are much more efficient and newer. I think spending extra to stay in Coral level is definitely worth the price especially if you're traveling without kids.
@@EllaKim-ko4cm They have guests coming over nearly every day for some type of performance. The week we stayed had this guy come over and sing every night. What a voice! Look at some of the UA-cam videos, RECENT...... and one thing is all ALL rooms are 100% ocean view, it may be what you want. The ocean on this part of Cancun is not great beach swimming ANYWHERE.... What is your pool activity? Anytime at Iberstar's if I pay for top grade I do not go down. Albeit, bars have served good, strong drinks.
We did a comparison video on our channel but we don’t have the great video footage like you see here. We use iPhone and do the best we can. But it’s absolutely fun to venture around the whole resort. We prefer to pay extra to get that option. Safe travels! You can’t go wrong with this resort.
I was just as surprised! Drinks are included in most places within the resort. It was not included in the restaurant. Some cuts of steaks and lobsters are also not included in the all inclusive price. I'd say 95% of everything in the resort is included except a few places
@@gremlin12345 that’s very odd. They gave us a menu with price tags. So we asked, are drinks not included? As a response, they said only soft drinks are included and that we had to pay for drinks.
