Thank you for the review, Jonas! You are the MKBHD of tennis gear, really appreciate it. And shoutout to everyone who bought the K-PRO and K-POP You rock
Once again, great experience to be in another tennisnerd review! The strings surprised me, the only issue is that apparently it is not that easy to buy them in Europe. The karue setup fits really well with a stiffer frame, really would like to have it for my pro staff 97! Saludos Jonas!
Im trying K-pop tomorrow on my radical mp 2021, with main 23kg and cross 22kg. I normally play with full bed wasabi 22kg. I hope it’s not to lively. Been playing with full bed wasabi at 22kg.
@@elchanclascocina I need to try a little more, hard to say, doesn’t change drastically from full bed of wasabi. Maybe a little more spin potential. But nothing to crazy. I really enjoy a full bed of wasabi string, so it will be hard to surprise me.
@@tophersuwita well it’s been a while but if comfort is a thing you appreciate then Toroline is much better than those 2. Spin is quite good on pretty much all Toroline strings but for me the one from the range that stands out and it’s probably the most comparable to the one confidential it’s the Toroline super toro. That one is my favorite by a good margin, then the wasabi. The hybrids I tried felt “ok” but to be honest enjoyed more full beds. Hated the snapper. Also keep in mind that playability is good, but they might break a bit fast as they are 1.23. Will depends if you play with heavy top spin or not!
i ordered 2 packs of the k-pro a couple days ago. these toroline strings are so intriguing, so i appreciate hearing your thoughts. you said that you’ve been trying lots of different combinations of the toroline strings and that these were the two that worked best. as someone who loves hybriding polys, i am curious as to which setups didn’t make the cut? thanks jonas🙏
I’ve been trying a lot of the Toroline strings and set-ups. For my game I agree with you Jonas that I like the Caviar the best. I wish it was in a blue or pink, but it had the best spin, feel and control for me with decent depth as well. Not super soft but I prefer that so that’s my favourite of the Torolines, I just didn’t gel with the Wasabi.
Thank you for the review. Wanted to get a string tension recommendation from you. I play the Yonex Vore 95. My current set up is Solinco confidential at 50 pounds. I have a set of the K pro and the super Toro. What tensions would you recommend for both of these string sets.
For strings I literally just asked the coach what he recommend. You can listen to these folks but I think it's just trial & error sometimes. There's so many options. I remember getting strings & they broke right away. So I understand that hassle of researching and measuring and inspecting.

Which Toroline strings would you recommend in the Babolat Pure Strike 18×20?
What might be a good recommendation if I an using Tourna Big Hitter Silver 7 and want a little more lift on the ball and better snapback?

Solid, but about average for polys, few polys are fantastic in terms of tension maintenance but some are very bad. This one is about average.

Toroline strings are kind thin so that also helps. I have a sensitive wrist and to me wasabi feels very comfortable. Coming from alu power rough 1.25
wasabi x is the best hybrid ive tested
