- A buddy and I own two of these rare old machines there called Raid Trac. His is the Aluminum body 618 Model with a Honda V Twin engine. Mine is Steel Body A1580 Mode with a Kohler single cylinder engine. In this video we take them out on a chilly winter day to put mine through its paces after a break down. Enjoy and more videos and info to come on these awesome machines!
It's like a big nasty snowdog are you watching this Mr skebo
What is the difference between these n a PasseparTout?
If my resurch is correct over the years that these machines were made they made several diffrent styles and were owned by diffrent companies. These companies changed the branding they have been called passepar tout, raid trac, and play cat, when arctic cat owned them.
I have one as well....a 613....used in the bush doing firewood too.......your yellow one....drive spocket on trany too high.....if 26....go 18 tooth....Im down to 10 tooth with 8 hp.
Hey thats cool il take a look. right now mine is in storage haven had much time to work on it but i have a small diesel engine i plan on using in it eventualy.
Let me know how the diesel works out....interesting idea.
@@mikedill7378 i sure will if i get it all working il post a video of it running the engine is a single cylinder wisconson- robins diesel.
I did try a 12.5 gas Wisconson...,,,worked ok....just got tried of wrapping the rope.....had about 257 pounds of torque
@@mikedill7378 yes this diesel has a pull starter altho im not built like a brick so i deffently wont be beating my self to death trying to fight the compression. Luckey for me it is electric start or should i say it was before someone down the line lost the starter now i have to try and make somthing fit it. You wouldnt know where i could find one? Cant find anything online.
Looks like to me the red one has much more power.... :)
Yeah just a slight bit there Rhyan b'y lol.
Stoped watching after you ran over the tree !!!!
Sorry to here that. There are small shrub trees like this all over the forest here and you would have to walk to avoid hitting a few. These spruce trees are verry springy and usualy bounce back in the spring. And even if a few are lost it's not going to make much impact.
