Seb just understands cars man. That natural sensitivity to a car's movement is also one of his biggest weaknesses probably. 2014 Red Bull and the 2019/20 Ferraris show that. But then again that's why he was able to perform magic with those blown diffusers that Mark Webber could never figure out. Special driver Vettel is. I hope the '22 cars suite his style..
If he understands car sensitivity should he be able to sense snap oversteer and avoid spins before loosing rear.
he also performed amazing in 2015 and 2017. I dont understand why people underestimate his 2017 year so much. It could be one of his best
but yeah he mastered the blown diffusers but then again after 2010 when they were banned that didnt stop him at all to be on top. I wish the 2018 ferrari didnt have such a slippery rear. I think that's the main reason he wasn't comfortable with the car and didnt get title but after the second half, merc was faster unfortunately
@@vedantmishra5773 snap oversteer is very hard to save in a formula 1 car, the wheel does not rotate much, and sometimes snap oversteer can be random
@@vedantmishra5773 snap oversteer between road cars and F1 car are different. In road cars once that happened, adjusting by throttle and counter steer would be enough but in F1 it's a trap unless it's a wet condition or slow speed.
I am an Aston Martin fan because they gave Seb his personality back. They’re new (as their own entity) and I expect them only to improve esp with the 2022 changes.
I am really excited about Aston Martin team as a long time James Bond fan a lover of the Aston Matins cars in James Bond films from the 70's its nice to see this brand in F1!!
I like aston martin for 2 reasons
1.Their cars
2.Thier cars having having so many parts to swap them for lighter ones

Seb and Martin really surprised me but I don’t know why because I’m sure they both have loads of experience driving many different cars. Looks like a ton of fun, I hope you guys do more videos like this in the future!
Martin just recently competed in Goodwood Revival, in a Shelby Cobra 68' I believe.
Martin used to do dirt track stuff and 80s F1. He definitely knows how to drift
I'm guessing the early cars Martin drove weren't too different than the Aston (not talking about F1, just sports cars in general).
Hopefully they both win next year

Lance just having a fun time is nice to see as well. I feel like he’s opened up a bit since 2020
Lance has grown on me. He’s starting to genuinely earn his place, and not just with the Benjamins. On top of that, he is starting to make me suspect that he’s an actual good guy.

I feel like most people that still hate him are probably stuck with confirmation bias, where they _want_ to hate him because of how he entered the sport, so every tiny thing he does is somehow inadequate or boring or indicative of something bad. They regularly flood Aston Martin's social media posts' comment sections, so it's always nice to see comments like yours that aren't like that. :)

@@jetrider7558 I'm new to being a fan of F1, but come on... Isn't nearly every professional racing driver from a background of wealth? You can't get into F1 if you haven't been racing obsessively since early childhood, and you can't really do motorsport as a child unless you've got rich parents willing to pour money into a sport that won't yield any actual returns for decades and only if the kid has exceptional talent...
I get the Stroll bought his way into F1, but at the end of the day these are all rich kids with generous parents no?

The V8 Vantage from 1984-85 is my all time favourite Aston Martin...I loved The Living Daylights.
Got to admire Mark Higgins, amazing rally driver and now he gets to do this! Used to watch him back in the day winning British Rally championships year after year!

@@davidb6576 i don't know. It's just obvious that nothing inside the car is stock. Even the cockpit has a lot of things removed and exchanged with nothing that could splitter etc.
