When i first played DC2 i was so hooked by it that i grinded out ammo capacity on all the weapons. "Sure, i can carry 9999 rockets for this launcher in my pockets!"
One of my favorite games, and my first m-rated game. I love this game, it's soundtrack and it's one of the first games I cleared multiple times! I should go back and beat it on hard-mode at some point.
the game of my childhood. so strong nostalgy i've got watching this playthrough. back in time i wish to get no dmg vs gigantosaurus but he always smashed me with his head . and vs T-Rex when Dylan uses the tank. but you make my child dream come true ) thanks a lot for your work it's really priceless!
I can't wait to binge watch this as I get some artwork done, the premier was amazing as always. I hope you get more views on this video, especially with the amount of work you've put into this!
Best DC2 walkthrough in the world. The checking in the map time to time adds up to the nostalgic treat. Thank you so much. Now, if we just get that HD texture pack someday with classic rebirth it would be cherry on top.
Thanks! DC2 has the most unique map system from all the classic Capcom titles, with unique art for each room, rather than generic outlines. Definitely something that is often overlooked and I felt that showing all the rooms (and different floors) would compliment the video.
Best walkthrough of this game ever! Kudos to you for doing supreme job! Looked at MoH: Underground and now this. In-Depth Walkthrough with additional conditions (like No Damage) is your prime feature - never change. The only suggestion: seek out good CRT shader for PS1 games (CRT Royale is good, but you better find one that suits your video capture better). Overstretched low-res textures and low-poly are not doing good service for giant resolutions lke yours. Do not fear to lower resolution while emulating old games. PS1 native resolution is drom 256x224 to 640×480 depending on the game . I tried 2x: 1280x960 - and believe it or not - I think that's the sweet spot even without CRT shaders. Every resolution past 1280x960 has diminishing returns - no amount of filtering will give additional sharpness. Especially for games with drawn backgrounds such as Dino Crisis or Resident Evil: sharp 3D models are very different from drawn scene. The only reason to have 1920x1440 (4:3) resolution is to save time converting video for UA-cam. I don't know how CRT shader works in 4K. It could be awesome or bad. Suit yourself - experiment or don't.
Thanks. Visual presentation is a painful subject, since it's impossible to please all sides at the same time. My preferences changed throughout the time and landed on the sharpest presentation of nearest neighbor, without any filtering. You have to take into account that people watch from different devices, so sharpest presentation eaten away by UA-cam's bitrate and then possibly downscaled resolution of a target device, that's still the best case scenario. The problem with shaders is that they'll apply a grid of detail that will spike bitrate usage (more macroblocking during bitrate-starved scenarios) and will not look good at any other resolution but native recording resolution, so let's say someone watches 2160p material at 1440p, there's no integer scaling and the grid will look wrong. A little nitpick about the PS1 resolution, most games would be around at 240p-ish, as 480p/i would be using pretty much whole PS1's VRAM. That only works in static image scenarios like logos, rather than gameplay. Filtering, through, in majority of cases is for providing smoothness, than sharpness. But YT already does that by cutting down the bitrate. Resolution disconnect between user interface, 3D and backgrounds has been a popular topic lately. In my opinion, there's always been disconnection between the 3, especially during early generations. The sensitivity of a person towards the resolution disconnect is a subjective experience, I don't mind it, but I get the idea why people would want to try to match it.
@@DfactorLongplays That's why I mentioned "one that suits your video capture better" :) If you ever want to see end result of most advanced CRT shaders I recommend looking into Retro Crisis YT channel. Hello Dfactor I just want to tell that I still enjoy your videos (especialy Ace Combat Games) now I have a little proposition I want YOU to play next the game that I really love ❤ called Kirikou And The Wild Beasts Game In-Depth Walkthrough *(2007)* cause nobody on youtube ever did a 100% walkthrough of it so please play this game 😢🙏
Yeah, it's only good for escaping, but at the same time you expose yourself to the boss' attacks, rather than standing your ground for counter-attacks. Showing uncommon interactions like this is one of the reasons why I started the In-Depth series.
@@sgtbriantheyoshi225 It's a mechanic that is disabled by default. It also does not give invincibility, so you have to side step by pure distance. It's not even mandatory for a no damage play through, as my original video that was the first in the world to do so did not utilise a single side step.

I like how the in-game cutscenes are done in this game.

Sry I missed this stream i love Dino Crisis
It's okay, the Premiere was limited to 1080p60, now you can enjoy the walkthrough at full quality at your own pace!
I don't even know that the glass door can be destroyed by aquagrenade

@DfactorLongplays nicely done
The 2nd Dino crisis game is my favorite i can use whatever weapon to kill almost every dinosaur all the time for fun
Making sure that the dinos stay extinct!
@ good thing my Yoshi won’t extinct but nevertheless good show mate
Also I didn’t know you can dodge in that game i see some people who livestream this game they never did dodging dinosaurs attacks

@ i see no wonder I never used that move when i had the game
