CHEATS INCLUDED IN THE VIDEO:
1.Unlimited Money {ONLY THIS CHEAT REQUIRES YOU TO DOWNLOAD THE CHEAT ENGINE}

2.Disabled Fatigue - The driver doesn't need to sleep at all [THIS CAN ACTUALLY BE TURNED OFF IN THE GAME OPTIONS :D]
3.Disabled Police - There are no fines(financial penalties) for breaking the speed limit, crossing on a red light etc.
4.Change weather - Force Rain or Force Sunny Weather
2 & 3 - Are saved once entered and to reset them back to normal they must be set to true, in other words their value must be "1" as opposed to "0" for false(deactivated)

Hey man, great walkthrough. This is one of the most well-done videos I have seen in recent memory for this type of thing. Thumbs up from me; two if I could.
The next scan button, basically scans only the values from the first scan to eliminate those which haven't changed, and basically slims the list down to only those values which are responsible for the function you're looking at (eg. money, xp etc.)

but it wasnt until I clicked on "next scan"
and then I clicked on the bank icon and my new money was there. :D

You hold down Ctrl on your keyboard and click on each value, on the bottom box you can click on just one value to highlight it and then press Ctrl and A at the same time to select all ;)
I got the 1.1.3 version as well and it works perfectly. So make sure you entered the correct amount of money in the cheat engine and then after you make the change make sure you click on the bank icon in the game and then go back to the main page, this will refresh the values ;) 2:40
yeah, you can do it that way as well, but sometimes those variables are for statistics and could mess up your save when changed, or you get like a thousand variables like that and the next scan is just to slim it down to only those which change ;)
Well it's years of experience in playing games, and also I know a bit of programming. I'm starting a Games Development Course in college next year (which involves programming, maths & physics, working with game engines, designing websites etc.) So in short you could say I'm an aspiring game developer ;) And thanks for the sub :)

i did have a prob where i couldn't get it to work, either i ran as admin or i changed my money back to euros from pounds, it then worked great :0)
BLOODY BRILLIANT!!!!! THIS IS AMAZING....JUST GO STEP BY STEP WATCHING THE VIDEO AND IT WORKS!!!!!
hmm, a useful one I know is for time - g_set_time (hour) (the percentage of an hour, eg. 25% = 15 min). So for example if you want to change the time to 14:30, you would enter: g_set_time 14 50
Then try completing a job or buy something in a shop, so the current amount of your money changes. Enter the new amount into the cheat engine and press next scan, this will eliminate those values which haven't changed, if there is still a big amount of them continue using the next scan method ;)
In the console enter the following line:
g_set_time 17
This will set the current time to 5 pm, so obviously change the '17' to whatever time you desire from 00 to 23. And if you want the time more precise then enter it in the following format hour.minute.percentage of 60 seconds. As in 15.30.75 would be 3:30:45 PM because 75% of 60 is 45 therefore 45 seconds ;)
Yeah basically, it just depends in what moment you do it, Random Access Memory stores variables which change all the time, If you want to slim down the number of values to make the change more precise, go back to the game, crash into something or finish a job, or buy something(Anything that changes the amount of money you scanned at the start eg.576) And enter your new current amount of money, eg. 176 (after paying 400 for crashing into something) but this time press next scan ;)
Some keyboards have different regional settings, try pressing different keys on your keyboard, or try changing your regional keyboard input setting in windows control panel from I suppose (Latvian) to (English(US)) ;)
I got the update as well and it's working fine, maybe try running(AS ADMINISTRATOR) the 64-bit version of Cheat Engine if you have a 64bit OS, if it doesn't work try 32bit OR if you're running a mission try cancelling it and then see if it works OR perhaps you a missed step, watch the vid carefully again ;) Good luck and let me know if you got it working again...
It's all in the annotations of the video. I suppose you're watching this from a mobile device where the annotations don't work. Well click on one and press Ctrl and A on your keyboard simultaneously to select all ;)

I'll actually make a video on that soon. But in order to do that you have to use cheat engine as well.
1.Memorise your current amount of experience points. eg. In the video I have 7150.
2.Write it in cheat engine and press first scan
3.Do a quick delivery or any job
4.Once you finished a job,you will hopefully get more experience points, write in the new value in cheat engine and press next scan.
5.Highlight all values in the box on the left, use red arrow and press change to eg 200000 (lvl44)
Ironically, they bring back good memories from the times when we had only 64MB GPUs and running on Pentium CPUs with 256MB RAM :D Funny how such a tragic and horrible war can seem (in a way) so awesome to others :p
Which part the money ? (Infact all parts work on 1.1.1 and 1.1.3 ;)) But if it's the money click on the bank icon and then go back to main screen to refresh values. If it still doesn't work, do a first scan, do a job or crash into something that will change your current amount of money. Enter the new amount of money and press next scan then follow the video after that.
Sometimes things f* up a little on older saves as some people have reported. So if you really did everything exactly as in the video along with the annotated instructions then I'd recommend that you'll try on a new profile ;)
Man you're all over the place :D First download and install CE 6.2 (It's an exe file), and you only need that to change your money(Follow the video STEP by STEP). To add console cheats you must edit the config file which is a .cfg type file, open it with notepad. It's located in the MAIN "Euro Truck Simulator 2" folder. You don't need to touch any of the sii files. Goodluck! ;)
You'll have to go to another city and discover a new garage for purchase by simply driving around, I think it costs €80,000. Or alternatively you can upgrade your current garage to have more spaces and look more modern by pressing G on your keyboard and pressing the 'Modernize' button under the picture of the garage ;)

Try completely restarting both Cheat Engine and ETS2, then try again but make sure you run Cheat Engine as administrator. Also try using the 64-bit version if you have a 64-bit OS

I don't get what you're trying to say? If you mean that the money doesn't change in the game then makes sure you click on the BANK icon and then click on X to close it. The money should be updated on your homepage ;)
Go to start menu, right click on "computer" then properties ;) Should give you the cpu, installed memory. And I suppose you can figure out yourself if you're running Windows XP, Vista, 7 or 8 ;)

W takim razie jedyną przyczyną mogła by być twoja konfiguracja klawiatury. A więc jedynym rozwiązaniem które mi przychodzi do głowy to próbowanie innych klawiszy(lekko prostackie wiem). A poza tym moje ustawienia regionalne klawiatury to "Polish (Programmers)" ;) A na jakim patch'u grasz?

maybe try searching for the tilde key on your keyboard then, I think it should be somewhere near the Enter key OR temporarily change your regional keyboard settings to english(UK) or polish(Programmers) which is the one I'm using ;) Goodluck!
Works on all versions, make sure you click on the bank icon and return to the game so that the values can refresh after you change them ;)
It's simple; Open ETS2, load your save and check your current money. Open CE 32bit version, go to Open Process, select eurotrucks2.exe, type in your money and click "First Scan". Click on the first address on the list, then shift & click on the last one. Click on the red arrow, select one of the addresses in the bottom box and press ctrl & a to select all. Press enter and type your desired amount. Close CE without saving. Go to your game, go to bank and exit the bank scree. Simple :)
first of all thanks ;) And I don't want to sound sarcastic but can you double check you've written it correctly i.e. - "g_set_weather 1 f". It might seem obvious but even I sometimes get it wrong, then realising I spelled something wrong. And if you're 100% positive you spelled it correctly, did you change the g_developer to 1 in the config file as I showed in the video? If that doesn't work I might have to try something else as well but tmrw because I have to study calculus tonight :p Goodluck!
Make sure you run cheat engine as administrator, and you can also try running the game as administrator just to make sure. In order to do so you can right-click on the icon and simply choose 'Run as Administrator' ;)

BO TRZEBA PO PROSTU ODŚWIEŻYĆ WIDOK ;)] A jeśli g_police 0 też nie działa, wyślij mi wiadomość to wytłumaczę jak wyłączyć te dwie opcje po przez edytowanie save'u/profilu w dokumentach.

Have you changed both of the parameters in the in the config file as shown in the video and then saved it? If yes you might want to google your keyboard or laptop cause in some cases the keys are reversed or mixed up. Also make sure your windows keyboard language setting is set to English(US or UK should work) you can check it in your control panel-regional settings ;)
There has to be one, even if you deleted it the next time you launch the game it will auto-create one. Make sure you're looking at the right folder : %User%/My Documents/ Euro Truck Simulator 2 - config.cfg
In the finnish/swedish keyboard layout the ½ / § key above TAB should work the same as a tilde key ;) So did you actually try pressing it? Otherwise you can try pressing the TAB key itself... Let me know if it worked or not
For anyone who either doesn't find any results when searching or sees no effect in game, make sure that you are using euros as your currency and searching for that amount in euros.
Nevemind found the problem. People who are having the no console bug its simple just make sure ur config hasn't changed back this is due to clod storage steam changes the config back to its original state making them both say 0 again.

I think there is a mod for this somewhere online, I'll see if I can get it for you ;) But 55mph||90km/h is a realistic value as modern truck engines are modified to only increase torque below that speed for safety, environment and economics ;)

for the money all the things you did is right , except one thing that the cheat engine you can edit all the values , but for the game that will make a conflict , so you have to edit theme one by one until you fine that one belong to the money and get back all the other values to it's original values in the game thank you .

While no difference will be if the road is discovered already or not , unless you mean to discover truck selling points and drivers Recruitment agency , i don't know any thing about that but you can search and download a full save of the game from the internet , for me i prefer to play it from the very beginning .

Could be the problem but I don't think it is. Make sure you're following the steps exactly as in this video and try cheating while not on a mission. And remember to refresh ;)
does NOT work if you have a negative account balance. with a negative acount balance the numbers are seemingly random (you have -9000, and the value is 412589654) and when you change it you will suddenly have an account balance of about -3billion

Did you run the game yet? And are you sure you're in the right folder? It's not the program files folder, the Euro Truck Simulator 2 is in your documents folder ;)
Yeah I know you are but running as administrator is different, actually I forgot if that applies to XP sorry. From your specs I can tell you that you need more memory, at least 2GB for a game like that. The engine is not really efficient so it eats a lot of memory and when it reaches maximum it crashes or goes to virtual memory and then crashes :p

Yeah, just try slimming down the number as much as you can but if you're at around ~10-15 you should be fine ;)
Yep, you need to change your currency to euro. If not it won't work even if you run it as administrator.
If you're currently running a mission try cancelling it and then re-try the cheat ;) Also run the Cheat Engine as administrator and try running the game as administrator as well just this one time ;)
Did you change the config file [g_console "1" |&| g_developer "1"]? at 3:52 and then saved it. And if you're sure you did EVERYTHING EXACTLY like on the video from 2:53 till the end, tell me what keyboard layout do you have (the input language or whatever you want to call it) ... But please go over the video once again from 2:53 step by step and then try again ;) BTW on some keyboards the tilde key might be somewhere else, look for it as well ...
Yeah but I meant the very first generation ;) Not that long ago I was actually running on an integrated GPU and a 1.8GHz Core 2 Duo set up, it ran some games fine but any game after 2007 was a misery so it was PS3 for me, now I'm finally back to the real platform :p
You might have a different regional setting for your keyboard, try changing your keyboard input to English UK to see if it works ;)

did you try pressing the '?' key on your keyboard? Maybe they're inverted in the game for some reason

Please read all the instructions in the video annotations ;) In the Cheat Engine your first enter your current amount of money, scan. Then get back in game, buy something or complete a mission. Get back to Cheat Engine and enter your new amount of money. Press 'Next Scan' and select all the values that appear in the left column, click the red arrow select all values in the box below, press enter, write the amount of money you want and press ok then close cheat engine without saving ;)
There shouldn't be a sound of money increase anyway. Make sure to go through all the troubleshooting steps which I've just put in the description under the video ;)
Sorry for late reply, a lot of people with different regional keyboards have this issue, so I think I'll make a video as soon as I can, because I just found a solution ;) I'll give you a link when I'll upload it ;)
It seem rather unusual, you can try updating to the latest patch 1.1.3 or run the game as administrator, and if either of those don't work try contacting SCS support. I'll send you the links by message ;)
This isnt working for me, the Level cheat worked. But when i search how much money I have. It doesnt come up with the amount yours does, only 4/5 results. Then I change the value to "1000000" and it stays the same. Help!
At which part exactly does it not work? Did you manage to find any values in cheat engine?

actually sorry the percentage thing is only for seconds, you can enter time normally so 14:30 would be just g_set_time 14 30 ;)
So the money is all those numbers? I thought the money is only 1 or 2 or 3 of those, since when I tried the same on other games, it either crashed the game or made the thing go N/A and restart from 0
I really don't know what could be the cause of that, perhaps a memory leak or interference with some drivers. Send your game.log and net.log files to the supports email I sent you. Those two files can be found in your Euro Truck Simulator 2 folder in your documents ;)
Ok tell me if you changed the g_developer value in the config file to "1" and saved the file. And if you can, your overall pc specs would help ;) And does the game freeze when you use Cheat Engine or when are using the in-game console?
I have my keys set and am on a windows 7 64 bit and the console key doesn't work and my regional settings are set to the one stated above.
If you're running a mission cancel it and try again, also just for the cheat run the game and cheat engine as administrator, Good luck ;)
after you click first scan in the video you have only a few addresses and value codes while i have alot and the one at the bottom is green, could you try and help me please???thankyou
Mine freezes as well. If I try to go to a mission or buy a truck it just freezes up. I have run both as administrator. I am not currently on a mission.
I followed the steps and it works until I visit a truck dealer (bank isn't available yet) and the game crashes.
Haven't heard of that one before, are you sure you can't add or subtract them? Or does the game crash?
how do you open console because tidle key isn't working iv tried following the steps again but nothing. can you help please?? also read about changing keyboard setup etc not sure what to do
You change your amount of money by editing a values in your ram memory not by editing a save file by the way ;) I've stalked your channel a little :p and have seen that you're trying to use the save editing method from ETS 1 which doesn't work in ETS 2 ;) But "my" method works in both ;)
Sorry I don't, the only way to do it would be to service it in the nearest city and the bring back the difference in money with cheat engine.
Yeah sorry about that, I'm currently looking for a solution to that. I'm not sure it's me, but i've tried this so many times since the update and it's not working... I done it before but now it's not working.
i just tried the money cheat, with the cheat engine-which i downloaded it from a site which i trust, and it works with 1.3.1 cracked version of the game. Legit thing, thanks
If you're currently running a mission try cancelling it and then try the cheat again ;)
Try setting your regional keyboard settings to UK English temporarily
So I think your problem is that you don't have enough memory

Yeah I checked the minimum requirements and it said 2GB. So just buy 1GB RAM they're quite cheap, about €10-€20
To all noobs out there, If you are using Cheat Engine 6.2 RIGHT, it WILL work! I know though i use it on my own!
