Devin serious between taking your efi class and your videos I’ve learned and am learning more in 6 months than I have in 3-4 years of asking “friends”… keep ‘em coming man they are great for us newbies

Thanks for posting all these Holley efi tech videos, they are really helpful. We are just embarking on our own setup, we already have the MSD flying magnet crank trigger, but is there any value in changing that out to a missing tooth configuration?
Also being budget minded are there any OEM 3 wire hall effect sensors out there that will work with the flying magnet, I have been scouring catalogues and lists and not seeing what I think would work. Ideally, I want to use the same type sensor for the crank and cam (we are making our own cam sensor setup) that is easily and economically sourced. Thanks

Great video. I'm attempting to use a hyperpark distributor on a bbc with a dominator setup. Should I follow the wiring instructions for a hall effect crank pickup and connect the 3 wires to the crank input, ipu ground and switched 12v and leave the cam input disconnected? Holley shows a crank trigger wheel in the instructions but nothing for hyperspark.
    Thanks Devin!

So I've got an ls3 with 4x cam and 24x crank. I'm having trouble with it cutting out at 100% throttle

I can’t seem to find the ignition drop down on my Holley efi software. Is this not available for sniper efi?

How did you get the full list of "custom" crank sensor types? I need 12 tooth trigger for a project and this is not an option I have (I only have 6 on my list, confirmed with two installs of Terminator X2 software on different laptops). is this an ICF that needs adding?

Hey Devin I was hoping you could help me out. I just got off the phone withHolley after waiting 40 minutes on hold and that was about useless. I have an LS2 engine running a terminator X max I put a 12-1 crank trigger on it and I need to know how to set up the tune for the cam sensor. In your video you went in the help section and it was talking about changing the firing order. My help section does not have those options. Where do I find that information or can you help me it set it up?

It’s under crank and cam and special instances

@@theholleyefiguy last question how do I set ignition reference angle like it says in the special cases? I watched the setup video but you’re not using a factory sensor in the factory front cover location. There is nothing for me to move.

1 pulse per fire is definitely not the most common in the aftermarket world. It´s mainly only small block old V8s that will have them, but millions on millions of engines are based on more common 36-1 and 60-2, without any doubt more common than 1 pulse per fire.
Examples - Every japanese engine since before 1985, Every european engine since before 1983, Every American engine since the late 80s.

Sorry. I'm used to racing real engines. So it's most common in my race car world

@@theholleyefiguy You live in a bubble if that is your comment or believe that drag racing engines are the only "real" racing engines.
Nobody in the following racing series is using 1 pulse per fire.
      F1
      F2
      F3
      F4
      IMSA
      Indycar
      World Rally Championship
      World Endurance Championship
      All global GT series
Any car on the LeMans grid
      Moto GP
      Nascar
      D1 drift series
      DTM
Any cup series (Ferrari, Lambo, Audi R8, Porsche GT etc)
That´s not including the dozens of millions of people with aftermarket ecu´s in their road cars
1 pulse per fire is also the least accurate trigger setup, from a mathematical and statistical standpoint.
