ESPECIALLY today, 2 Navy fighter pilots (UW alums) have gotten permission to do a "fly over" above Husky stadium at the start of the game! So, Husky Nation will be heard from the sky, as well as from the stands!💜
Davis Warren has played 2 3/4 of the games while Orji has played 2 1/4. Obviously, Orjis passing is worse but up until this point Warren still has more snaps. And a lot more pass attempts. So Warren more passing yards is expected
The Michigan LBs are sometimes out of place, but they do put some vicious hits on guys. They're all new starters Its a hard position to learn, and they're getting better.
Upset Meter (Salsa Index): Scorchin' The wrong team is favored here. While Washington's passing offense presents a challenge to a Michigan LB and DB corps that have shown some weaknesses, the Huskies' defense does not have the horses to shut down Michigan's rushing attack. Michigan's defense, if healthy, should also be able to consistently get pressure on Will Rogers. Washington can easily win this game, because Michigan's one dimensional offense will stall out at times, and Michigan's blitz packages hurt them more than their opponent, but I favor the Wolverines here.
The Salsa Index key is mild (not happening), medium (could happen but not likely), hot (the favorite should be scared, but the proper team is favored), and scorchin' (the wrong team is favored and an upset is likely imminent).
Washington 31 Michigan 24 Washington has the breakthrough game to defeat a pretty good winning team that is ranked by protecting the football, they make less mistakes, they finish drives by scoring touchdowns instead of settling for field goals in a challenging close game. The last 2 times Washington played Michigan in Husky Stadium, Washington has howled victorious even though Michigan has the advantage of having won the last 3 times they’ve played Washington which includes that National Championship game which Michigan had no sweat dominating even though Washington had great effort to get it close in the first half before it would become an embarrassment in the second half. As a realistic Huskies fan I’m hopeful Washington won’t find a disappointing way to lose a thrilling close game like they did vs Rutgers, and Washington State.
As a Washington fan, I’m pretty convinced that you’ve just been watching our highlights and looking at the stats. There was 0 mention of team discipline and terrible red zone play calling which are the only reasons Washington isn’t 5-0 with two comfortable wins against WSU and Rutgers. Also Monanagai had a 40 and 30 yard run but other than that, had 23 carries for 52 yards. I would say the run defense and coaching are the strengths for Washington but the offensive coaching and discipline has been terrible.
*Team discipline as in the numerous penalties that have no bearing on the play whatsoever that extends drives on 3rd and 4th down stops, eliminates turnovers, and kills offensive drives.
Washington will follow Minnesota's blueprint and stack the box. And force Michigan to pass. Whether Michigan can or not will determine if they win this game.
I think Sam’s wrong, I think there’s 3-4 teams that would beat last years Michigan team and a few other Champs in the 4 team era. Bama OSU Texas Maybe Tennessee
Washington should be 5-0, if not for a TON of DUMB mistakes at critical times. Washington will improve with all that as the season goes on, since the entire team and staff are new. It takes time. I won't be surprised if Washington wins, but I don't have confidence they will have figured out their penalties yet.
If Washington doesn’t get that blocked punt penalty the huskies win even with the missed field goals and questionable play calling the huskies are beating themselves
Michigan could beat Washington with tough defense, and by displaying a solid play action game ... Josiah Stewart will have a field day ... Difference maker ? Zvada .. Michigan by 10 ....
UW has close to FIFTY new players and 23 new coaches and only 1 true returning starter. Michigan has similar woes but not nearly the same scale as UW. UW has talent on both sides of the ball and their QB and THREE RB's are total studs. But they are playing like a bunch of kids who have never played together - tons of penalties and boneheaded mistakes. Those strange mishaps are the only reason they are not undefeated now. But...unlike Michigan, UW hangs onto the football. Only 2 turnovers so far to Michigan's TEN turnovers.
With their passing game no but rest of team yes as long as they can keep finding ways to win. They loaded on D and have a really good RB in Mullings. I forgot somehow about Stewart on their DL as well. I like 4 guys on their Defense a lot that are studs!
I was aware when I was recording this, and I decided that spelling Michigan wrong in a few parts of the video was not worth changing. Will fix it next time.

Ok Ohio Mac team
It's not a true night game. It will start at 4:30 out there in Washington. But, that's still a loud environment.
ESPECIALLY today, 2 Navy fighter pilots (UW alums) have gotten permission to do a "fly over" above Husky stadium at the start of the game! So, Husky Nation will be heard from the sky, as well as from the stands!💜
Offensive MVP: Michigan RB Kalel Mullings (who else would it be?)
Defensive MVP: Michigan DE Josaiah Stewart
@@collegefootballwithsam Watchout for Loveland on Saturday.
Please let Orji throw more, so we know if we could stick with him or not.

Utoh revenge game! I like Michigan's D but also like Washington's O because they have an actual QB. Man this will be tight.
Washington's Will Rogers gives the Huskies the ability to come behind or extent the lead out of Michigan's reach. This will be a good game.
@@collegefootballwithsam SOOOO, did you just change your mind?
Appreciate your input, but honestly you missed a lot on this prediction. Washington is just the more complete, and better team.
Sam I have a prediction that Florida state will lose by about 50 or 60 to Clemson and Mike norvell will be fired

27-24 Michigan. Michigans runs for close to 1k yards.
Washington won't stop the run game. Couldn't even stop Rutgers.

Michigan will be by far the best defense Washington will have played so far.
Well, Sam got the score correct. Just not the team.
If Washington doesn’t get that blocked punt penalty the huskies win even with the missed field goals and questionable play calling the huskies are beating themselves
27-24 Michigan. They have at least 1k rushing yards.

Yeah, I wasn't shocked that they were ranked 10th, but I was disappointed.

So who should be ranked ahead of Michigan. None of the teams ranked between #11 and #15 deserves to be ranked ahead of Michigan.
