USAF Heavies at NAS Oceana

Pretty strange and yet pretty awesome at the same time seeing multiple US Air Force heavy types in and out at NAS Oceana. This was sometime in mid October 2006 while I was visiting Virginia Beach, VA. Beautiful day to see some aircrafts in and out!

Actually this day was about two weeks later after the NAS Oceana Airshow. Plus normally they wouldn't have two C-5s on static display.

im pretty sure these were the planes for static display at the nas oceana airshow in late sept. they were probably departing to go back home

I wonder how many AWACS 135s the Air Force is flying with the old turbo jet engines? One flew in and out here from Lackland AFB about 3 weeks ago.
