Actually, it does seem like these do it all. The case having touch features to help out is pretty cool. Battery life is great. They've gone up to ipx5 now. Noise cancelling sounds like a winner. Big improvement over the liberty 3 pro.
Not so fast. Imo the Liberty 3 Pro is still the king of sound quality. Soundcore hit the nail on the head with those, which I'm still using daily specifically for music. I'm hoping these are closer to the L3P than the L4, which are far too bright and sybilant for me.
I'm with you on this. I was fully expecting an updated design from the Liberty 3 Pro - maybe slimmed down a bit, improving the fit, but certainly not this.
I think it's a huge disappointment and reason enough not to buy it. if I want a stem design they already had the Liberty four and the Liberty 4 NC. It's been many years since they've released a prop non-stem version at a flagship level
I’ve had my soundcore liberty 3s for a couple of years now. Back when they released, I listened to your review of them and decided to buy them for Christmas and had them for years. I’ve noticed that they are starting to break down so I’m back and happy to hear there’s a new pair on the market and back to hear the breakdown from you!
I love my Liberty 3 Pro's. Bought them in 2022, and have been waiting for these, since I knew I got the 3's roughly a year after they were released. Super excited for these!!
when you place the earphone in the case correctly it will show the battery percentage in the case on the little screen by doing that you will know the damn things were in the case properly
My "hot take" with this pair, is that I would rather have some kind of "find my buds" instead of the display and the controls. I know it's complicated but I would be really cool.
I absolutely love these! Just got the buy 1 get 1 free deal on Amazon. In blue! So impressive! Bass is shockingly good. Highs crisp. No tin sound. ANC is a trip how good it works. Zero fatigue after wearing alllll day into the night. Even slept w them. No fatigue.
I do like these quite a bit, as they fixed some complaints I had with the Liberty 4 NC. Mostly being the nozzle for the ear tips as I can now use 3rd party tips like Spinfit perfectly. They now struggle to fall out. There is one massive issue I have is that the Gaming Mode doesn't reduce audio latency all that much, even with the most recent update to address this. Now it did improve but I had to disable Dual Connections (Multipoint basically) for it to be somewhat functional. Both on my phone playing COD Mobile and on my Switch, these had to be the sole device connected in order for the audio lag to be slightly better. Sadly it's still noticeable. Hopefully it can be updated to have the same level of audio lag reduction like the Liberty 4 NC and the P40i earbuds as the Gaming Mode there works much better.
I don't think I will be upgrading from my Liberty 4 NC any time soon; they are quite good at blocking out people in noisy libraries. Still, I am glad Soundcore is not going into the same direction as other companies, they are offering more functionality at a competitive price; when wireless earbuds are the same price as flagship wireless headphones it is ridiculous.
Bought them the day I saw your review! I love soundcore and can confirm that sound isolation even on normal mode is actually very impressive and only becomes better at full power ANC. And finally a pair which doesn't fall off from my ears. I think that's because of the way they have been designed and weight has been distributed, a stem style that actually worked for me for the first time.
Oooow! I have been waiting to see these. +Sits down, tells the pets to go away and the wife to be quiet+. Intensely listens to the video and awaits all the juicy specs....

I didn't have the liberty 4 NC, so i just got these for 129 they came with a case, so essentially, they're about the same price as the NC. Audio quality great love the screen and the things you can do with them as well as the camera button. The call clarity is fantastic. i work in a factory, and people i talk to can not hear a thing going on around me. So much so that they get confused when im talking to someone else because they dont realise someone is talking to me.
