Just got to say glad you got out of review. We all know you’ve been busting your butt at work lately and appreciate you taking the time out to do this review✌🏻
Wow, thanks a lot for such a detailed review, El Jefe! Love your videos, man. Bought W830BT 5 years ago thanks to you, Liberty 3 Pros 2-3 years ago and Moondrop Arias I think around 1.5 years ago. Couldn't be happier. Take care!
Anker released an update today that did finally added an on/off for ear detection as well as an improvement to the Gaming Mode. Sadly the latency with gaming mode hasn't improved much to where it's usable for gaming. But the toggle for ear detection is still a welcome addition.
I finally got my Liberty 4 Pro after your review and you're spot on with everything! I will say, the spatial modes are interesting but fun and the gaming more does lower latency a tad bit but overall, it is so much better than the Liberty 4 NC I had last year.
Wow, how refreshing is it to see a review Channel provide real world scenarios with testing. As well as including multiple different brands in said test. Quality content, earned a sub. Look forward to your future reviews. Also, I watched this review while wearing the Liberty 4 Pros . They are amazing headphones
I've been rocking the 3 Pros for 2 years now and although I'm skeptical on the stem design I'm looking forward to being able to hear how these sound compared to my 3s
I noticed that Soundcore sent out the blue version to all of the established reviewers. Personally, I would've preferred the navy blue, but unfortunately, Soundcore doesn't offer this.
@@stkyfngrszmooth my AirPods Pro 2 are on there last legs and I want these to replace them because I love Soundcore products. I had the life a2 nc, Liberty air 2 pro, and the life dot 3i
Great review my man! I didn't even think the Gaming mode would reduce latency until seeing you mention it. I tested the latency with Spatial Audio Game Mode on and off. I got about 500ms with it off and 400ms with it on testing on an iPhone 15 Pro. So it does something but not much.
Would you say the Liberty 4 Pro are a better buy than the OnePlus Buds 3 Pro? I would say ANC is my top factor in deciding on these more budget earbuds followed by the feature set
Still rocking my Liberty 4 NC that i bought following your review. I'm a full night 1 side sleeper, i sleep with only 1 earbud in the ear opposite of the one touching my pillow.
Still working with my Liberty 2 Pro’s. Love them. Definitely feeling a little underwhelmed with these pro4’s, might wait a while before deciding on an upgrade.
Ugh, I really wish they had just kept the same shape as the Liberty 3 Pro. With the custom wings that the 3's had, they just locked into my ears and didn't budge. I train hard, and often and sweat a lot and never had any issue with them falling out. With the 4Pro, the tips are the only thing keeping them in your ears, and if you're sweating a lot, I'm not confident these will stay put. It would have been cool if they just made them in 2 different form-factors. I doubt I'll be buying the 4 Pro's.
I was sold the second I saw the thumbnail. I still use my OG Liberty 4's and they still are my favorite earbuds for phone calls and meetings. I bought them thanks for your review years ago. 👍
Good to see you and thank you for this review. I was a little worried about these because I wasn't that impressed with the Space One Pro headphones. And the price of these is also a pleasant surprise. 💯👍🇺🇸
Totally agree. I have 2 pairs of the a40s and love them. I hate stem style earbuds and wouldn’t buy them for that reason alone. Stem earbuds just don’t stay in my big ears. Update a40s please ! 😮
Oh thank christ for the normal shaped stem, was so disappointed with the Liberty 4 NC because of that. Originally I thought I found a pair of Spinfit tips that worked, but they fell off. Then I tried the stock tips which was fine for a bit, but those also failed. Will be picking these up soon. Thank you for showing the ear nozzles to confirm spinfit does fit.
I cant stess enough..... people change the ear tips! I think the one place Soundcore falls short is with their ear tips. Spinfits on these changes the sound drastically. They are louder and the bass is more deeper and cleaner.
@krlzzzz no you have to chose your size. There a bit pricey, and only come in the one size you order. So order what size you usually wear with the original tips.
yeah, I hope they haven't totally discontinued that form factor, although it's hard to see how it would come out again now. maybe the space a40 sequel will be more like the Liberty 3 pro in shape and with the quality drivers
@@impasta9093 there was a problem for me with old form factor: those fins spoiled connection with the contacts for charging in the case. Headache. But sound on l3p was genius. Still couldn't find something better

I like stem earbuds over the normal dot style but I kind of wish that Soundcore tried to distinguish these from the air line. Great video as always Jefe!🙏🏾🔥
You and I share the same Ear-Fit problem. I have used always used Soundcore Earbuds and speakers for over five years - I love them. I'm using Liberty 4NC now. But the key issue is always getting a reliable fit to keep the buds in place. I would need the XL buds or the SpinFit in XL.
Denon/Nura did it best in my opinion. Sennheiser also has a very good one they introduced on the MTW4. OnePlus also has one that's pretty good. There are more but I haven't thoroughly tested all of them.
@ELJefeReviews I'm assuming you're talking about the sound personalization by adjusting the dot on the board on the Sennheiser. I switched from the standard EQ to this on my Momentum 3, and the difference in sound quality was astounding.
Thanks for the informative review! Not sure if others are having this issue, but I have found that often mine are falsely detecting removal from ears and pausing, making them nearly unusable. As you mentioned, these shipped without any ability to calibrate or toggle the feature on/off like the older Liberty 4 has. Hopefully they are prioritizing a firmware update to add that back in in the coming weeks, otherwise I will need to return these for the time being.
Still have the 4nc as my main, is it worth it upgrading to 4 pro? Also, that glossy finish will definitely fill with scratches after a few months of use
The oval shape of the Original L4 earbuds really makes it more comfortable to wear long term. I don’t know why they ditched it, I am not changing now. ☺️
My only thoughts are 1 the battery is a little weak compared to the a40 or 4nc that I can use a full 8 hour shift with no problem, and 2- after playing with the case everyone said the same thing, why didn't they put all controls on it so you could not have to go to your phone at all to control the buds or Spotify
Comparing with Liberty 2 Pro+ (updated version, from 2021), which earbuds will give more details in instruments and vocals, as well as more precise elaboration at the edges of the frequency range?

From what I've been told, the move was to make them smaller and more accessible to more people. In hopes of improving sales makes perfect sense. It can be a win/win.

I like these buds, they're great, Soundcore once again came through. I'm not impressed with the Galaxy buds mics, it has a slight hiss and makes you sound like you have a lisp.
Better sound quality in my opinion. But it's not a nite and day difference. I recommend sticking your L4NC in a bowl of rice for a few days to see if they come back to life before ordering a new pair of earbuds. I've seen the rice trick bring all types of wet devices back to life.
*I'm not really a fan of that "stem" design. Because it doesn't have the "wing" inserts like the L3P, it makes me wonder if they are as secure.. I think the wing inserts make the L3P stand out compared to the others as it's not only just the ear piece itself holding the earphones in.*
@@ELJefeReviews I don’t know if this is a sound analogy, but to me NC is like a black-out curtain. Of course, during the day, I’d need them to block out as much light as possible. But I wouldn’t want a less opaque option for the evening.

How wide is the soundstage compared to the OnePlus buds 3
I miss the old form factor but I guess these probably sell better.
From what I've been told, the move was to make them smaller and more accessible to more people. In hopes of improving sales makes perfect sense. It can be a win/win.
If the product worth buying if I have the liberty 4 Nc it just seems it’s a better case and the price is expensive for a soundcore product especially with no early bird offers
Thanks for everything king
I would wait for discounts if you already have the L4NC bro.
@@ELJefeReviews I will pass then king and wait for another superdope el goat Jefe review. Please look after your health and keep up the great work 🙏🏾❤️
I like these buds, they're great, Soundcore once again came through. I'm not impressed with the Galaxy buds mics, it has a slight hiss and makes you sound like you have a lisp.
Agreed bro.
I hope they make a over the ear equivalent to these ear buds
how those compares to SoundPeats Capsule 3 Pro plus?
This is better
Currently have the p25i that I picked up for $20 off best buy lol is the bass better stronger than these?
Just accidentally ran my Liberty 4 NCs through the washer. How would you say they compare at $30 more?
Better sound quality in my opinion. But it's not a nite and day difference. I recommend sticking your L4NC in a bowl of rice for a few days to see if they come back to life before ordering a new pair of earbuds. I've seen the rice trick bring all types of wet devices back to life.
Thanks Jefe 🎉
Please which has more bass, LP3 or 4?
Both have bass. But L3P can dig deeper in my testing.
@@ELJefeReviews Thanks brother, you the best 💯
Thank you for another outstanding video. How do think these stack up against ghe OnePlus buds 3 pro ? Thanks
*I'm not really a fan of that "stem" design. Because it doesn't have the "wing" inserts like the L3P, it makes me wonder if they are as secure.. I think the wing inserts make the L3P stand out compared to the others as it's not only just the ear piece itself holding the earphones in.*
Hello - wichs sound us better: Soundcore Liberty 4pro or Liberty 4? Greetings from germany Bernd 🤔
Pro
Thanks 👋
Great review, Thanks! I’m going to write to your boss and tell him to cut you some slack so you can make a new video every week!👍🏼
Thanks bud!😂
why do manufacturers execute NC in any sort of adaptive way? why not just "on" or "off?" is it a power conservation effort?
Mostly, yes.
@@ELJefeReviews I don’t know if this is a sound analogy, but to me NC is like a black-out curtain. Of course, during the day, I’d need them to block out as much light as possible. But I wouldn’t want a less opaque option for the evening.
