One of the most beautiful excerpt of symphonic world.
Indeed
@@Dylonely42 nice pfp 😍
It is indeed a very, very impressive "endless melodic" (quotation borrowed from Richard Wagner) passage of one of my most favorite musical works written at all. But more and more the apotheosis of Mahler's Third I like to add to my faves of such eternal and evergreen musical gems. 💎🙏🎵
God this is beautiful. Would've loved to play this in highschool.
oh my goodness...frissons and goose bumps !!
Yes! Thank you!
This is a very demanding score for the brass section!
The tuba though ♥
Idk how to feel about this
es tan linda que no suena tan mal con el midi de la basura de programa que usas
Why are the trumpets in C? Aren’t they normally in Bb? And isn’t the F Horn supposed to be in F? What?
@Kaitlyn Jenkins The trumpets are both Bb trumpets, and the F horn is in Ab (as it's concert Db)
Trumpets and Horns play in tins of keys. We transpose parts daily, we came from valveless tubes with crooks to change pitch.
The actual trumpet parts Mahler wrote were trumpets in F, and orchestras now use C trumpets for almost everything classical. I actually prefer playing on C trumpet even if I have to transpose.
Magnus organ toaster.
2:05 - get rid of that trombonne g. If they're playing mahler they should learn how to play a high c first
and why is that?
@@matthewlockyer5571 because Mahler shouldn’t be watered down to make it easy. If you want to play this chorale, the level of musicianship expected means the trombones are expected to be able to hit that C
This guy knows what’s up
