My hubs and I have been considering getting a Wolf Pup and I have to say removing that dinette really opened up room in the trailer. Was it a big hassle or did it come out fairly easily? I also like your toilet. Once you go bidet, you feel like a savage when you don't have one.
Once you figure out where all the screws are, it’s very easy to remove most of stuff in the campers. Truly, not a big deal.
The bidet is a must! And also the porcelain toilet and not just the plastic one that it comes with.
I don’t know where you’re located, but if you’re interested, we just posted our alpha wolf for sale. It’s a bit bigger, but it has every single upgrade you could think of.

CURT 51110 but I do not recommend it.
I will be also replacing mine pretty soon with a brake controller that has buttons instead of a slider, sometimes in different terrains you need to adjust the brake controller and with a slider it's very finicky and dangerous.
Hi, I’m looking into buying a used 2017 wolf pup fq,. I don’t know if it has the plug/set up to add solar to it ? I’d like to use less propane as well, I can’t find any info on adding solar. Specifically if there’s already a plug to add solar ? I’m a total newbie to travel trailers, it’s going to be my home for a while. Very important to be able to use solar, I have no clue how to install it. Thanks so much, I’m looking forward to getting one. Found a 2017 for $13k, original owners never moved it from there driveway . Used it for occasional guests, so it’s in new condition.
If this is your first trailer, there is a very big learning curve on what is possible and what is not possible to do.
Most likely the trailer does not have a solar panel hook up. That is not a big deal because even if it did have one it would be for a solar panel that is about 50w (which is meant only as a trickle charger to the battery while not in use)
As an RV tech a lot of people come to me after they purchased a trailer thinking that they can use solar to power their AC
And that will be a great alternative for residential hook ups, or a generator.
A good set up that might be able to power your AC for 1 to 3 hours could cost you close to $10,000 in today’s market
Cheap solar is only meant to charge batteries.
Once your battery is charged, you can use your lights and refrigerator on propane
If you’d like to use less propane, turn off your water heater after use, it takes 27 minutes to heat up your 6 gallon water heater Turn it on before use and off after
Living in a travel, trailer, full-time will never lower your utility cost unless you are willing to give up amenities like Ac heat and hot water
Hopefully this helps prior to purchasing. I love having a travel trailer and I do live in it. But again you’re better off to know what you know now prior to purchasing.
If you don’t have electricity where you’re at a generator is the best alternative and also do not purchase the cheapest one because you want it to strong enough for the AC and quiet at the same time.
And you can ask a local propane, company deliver a large propane Bottle and refill it when needed
@@RVGuyss , I don’t use AC. Gives me headaches, so I’m good with that. I saw your video on the water heater usage, very helpful. I’m fighting myself between a camper or a trailer, so many differences. Trying to weigh the pros and cons, thanks for the info 😊

New at the dealership, they are around $25,000, maybe a little less today. But prices fluctuate quite a bit. You can find a nice used one up to 3 years old in the high teens.
