By far one of the best guests on this podcast. Calm, fluent, and intelligent. Every statement he made left a stronger imprint on me. Crystallized my belief in BTC.
I love the fact that Bitcoin has matured enough to where people like Darin can contribute measured, intelligent, experiential insights to the rest of the world. Ten years from now, your viewers will replay this video and kick themselves for not buying as much bitcoin as they could afford. Darin makes the indisputable argument to invest.
What I love most is hey this is my 3rd podcast ever like this..goes to sit back in seat and hes too far away from microphone haha the only hick up Feinstein he would ever have for 2 hours wow this is the most insightful, knowledgeable guest on topics I could not discuss or know what to research. period. Thank you sir I am sharing this annoyingly to orange pill all the people I love.
Kudos Peter! This is easily your greatest podcast, I can’t believe I missed this one until now. Aside from Jeff Booth, no one explains it better than Darin Feinstein. You’ve outdone yourself here, Peter.
Another incredible episode, thanks Peter and Darin. Such a clear and mindblowing analysis of the past, the presence, and the future of Bitcoin and for me with a totally new aspect of triple entry accounting. The ESG FUD propaganda section was brilliant. I´m living in the EU and cannot believe that they try to ban the best invention of mankind - every politician MUST SEE THIS! Share the message and the video!
This was a fun one. A number of topics were review (but some getting into new details I hadn't heard before), but hearing the perspective of an OG who's stuck with bitcoin and built on it through all the fears and attacks thrown at it is seriously encouraging. For all of the worries you see around bitcoin today, it's clear that it was a lot scarier when the future of the network was less certain, and Darin weathered it all. Mad respect to him! Would be happy to hear from him again!
Very good discussion and clear concise focus on accounting basis of immutable property rights and Freedom. This is clearly a world changing move, but “totalitarian blockchains” are causing confusion.
In reaction on 1.37.00u. In the Netherlands we had to much renewable energy and the people getting payed to use energy. It was in the news on national television last week. A look into the future was to use the batteries of electric cars to load them up during this times and when there was less energy to use the energy from our electric cars. So a lot of small batteries from cars, makes a big one.
Top marks. Learned a ton from this guy. Impressive he had the balls so early on to follow his conviction. Def one of the best, cogent approaches to Btc as an innovation I’ve heard. An immutable ledger! So simple.
I knew Bitcoin fixed many things. Now I know Bitcoin fixes accounting as well. Added to the ever growing list. Thank you Peter for having the platform to allow Darin to increase my Bitcoin knowledge. I love this community.
Is there a possibility to cut out the FUD part with the historical examples of critical narratives against disruptive technology, so that it can be shared to FUDsters?
This was an awesome interview. Thanks for having him on. It is crazy and amazing to understand what and where we are with Bitcoin. Being an early adopter is quite Special!!!! #HODL 🚀🌙
"you had to be on time or otherwise they wouldnt know where the fuck you are" hahahaah!! I remember finding payphones to get ahold of mom and dad to pick me up back in the day! (I wasnt on time back then either lol)
And miners are more than "accountants of the network who create the money". For someone who has allegedly been in Bitcoin for so long, it's odd to hear these descriptions of the network.
Maybe read the Bitcoin Whitepaper again: it never mentions a 'ledger' at all - for a reason: blockchains are STATE MACHINES. You do NOT get a 'ledger' with peer-to-peer cash.
Great discussion really appreciated it. But the : Bitcoin is great because "it can't be seized by governments" but bitcoin is great because "anyone doing illicit activity on it will have it tracked and seized at the outpoints". So "Bitcoin is freedom" as long as you never use any off ramps. A bit of a glitch on that selling point no ? And might note that the Galileo part is totally wrong, yes he was condemed (1633) to house arrest for "vehemently suspect of heresy" but wasen't tortured, killed & chopped up to be spread out all over the country. He died at 77 years old (1642) from heart problems and then burried close to Basilica of Santa Croce.
can you reaaaally bank 8 billion ppl tho? how many years would that take with the current block size? bitcoin cash is trash, but idk how we can fit 8 billion ppl into the blockchain. maybe fedimint?
A coworker of mine said {his old drug dealer had boxes and boxes of bitcoin 😝} I think it was mining computers for bitcoin. coworker should have purchased his bitcoin instead of the drugs. Now he thinks he is going get rich with .0009 BTC🤑. In mean time I will just keep DCA into stocks gold bitcoin razors

Perfectly said
agree 100%
Pete did very little talking which is always a bonus
He is sus w/ that last name
Could not agree more
Darin articulates the need for Proof Of Work (and why the central bankers hate it) better than most others I’ve heard. Great guest Pete, cheers.
Darin is one of your most consequential interview Peter. Thank you both, Peter and Darin. Brilliant discussion!!!

One of the very best podcasts this channel has put out!!!!
Please interview Antonopoulos.
I'll second this.
+1
Antonopoulos is a must
Yes yes and yes please
Great guest. An accountant and a lawyer and a big miner who can articulate multiple levels!
This is GREAT! Really well thought out and easy for non accounting people to understand. The Rabbit Hole never ends.
This is a great interview for people who are trying to start in Bitcoin and understand why Bitcoin
Absolute legend. Is it even possible to become more orange pilled than I already was? Because this guy did it!

A lot of truth bombs here, love this guest, please invite him more often.
This checks all boxes with Bitcoin. Great stuff Peter
First time hearing Darin speak but he has a deep understanding. I would love to see him and Saylor discuss bitcoin.
Brilliant, that was so educational.. Many thanks!
amazing. I love his voice, his accent. but his stories, amazing.
This is a *really* good episode. I'm sending this to nocoiner friends to address all the FUD going around.
Very good discussion and clear concise focus on accounting basis of immutable property rights and Freedom. This is clearly a world changing move, but “totalitarian blockchains” are causing confusion.
Feinstein for POTUS

Wowww!! What a freaking legend. This was one of the best talks yet!!
Captivating, the whole interview
Best interview I have seen. Thank you
This was a great listen 👍
Darin is underrated.

Blown away by this episode! Complicated concepts laid out in the simplest form. My 11yo loved it.

Favorite guest by a country mile wow
Moar bitcoin only stuff. Moar! Love it.
I knew Bitcoin fixed many things. Now I know Bitcoin fixes accounting as well. Added to the ever growing list. Thank you Peter for having the platform to allow Darin to increase my Bitcoin knowledge. I love this community.
Great episode!
i like the freedom and transparency of bitcoin this guest was awesome.
Superb. One of the best WBT chats. Thanks gents.
This was excellent.
Is there a possibility to cut out the FUD part with the historical examples of critical narratives against disruptive technology, so that it can be shared to FUDsters?
If anyone has ever seen this guy in person…especially when he’s playing poker…you know this guy is a wreck.
great show
Excellent podcast
What's the problem with mineral oil submersion in a cold climate (ALASKA).
Awesome guest
Great episode!!
Great job Peter.
This one is really good
This one was a good one.

Such a good interview!
This was an awesome interview. Thanks for having him on. It is crazy and amazing to understand what and where we are with Bitcoin. Being an early adopter is quite Special!!!! #HODL 🚀🌙
An excellent guest and host.
Where is Peter ? (the photo)
Best episode to date. 👍
Another great and informative talk.
Wow this guy is bright. Thanks Peter for turning us on to him. Wow
Great conversation, thanks for that
Real pleasure 👏🤛🤜
a must listen
Ethereum comment was the best!!
Ironically one of the most important topics to be hosted on this podcast re: BTC and likely to garner the least numbers in terms of viewership.
Thank you .
Aren't nodes actually what keeps the system in check, not miners?
Should isn’t ?
It’s both. Miners contribute hash toward a specific code, nodes approve blocks. Nodes can approve a change, but without miners, it’s meaningless
Yes
"you had to be on time or otherwise they wouldnt know where the fuck you are" hahahaah!! I remember finding payphones to get ahold of mom and dad to pick me up back in the day! (I wasnt on time back then either lol)
Great conversation. Btc keeps amazing me on so many fronts.
Excellent
1:36:35. If you take ESG for its political spin, and not for its true aspirations, which have nothing to do with its stated goals.
Great!!
Good video to show people for the "lightbulb" moment.
When well Capitalized bitcoin miners decide to cut out the middle man on energy and privatize nuclear fusion energy research….game on
A blockchain is more than a ledger. It's a ledger whose blocks of transactions are added on top of one another requiering Proof of Work.
And miners are more than "accountants of the network who create the money". For someone who has allegedly been in Bitcoin for so long, it's odd to hear these descriptions of the network.
Excellent information from an excellent guest! Like......subscribe and leave a comment!
who's john galt? 😎
Brilliant
Most, if not all, of anti-Bitcoin mining FUD comes from entrenched hypocrites.
Politicians are against cutting the branch upon which they sit.
Peter! Did you and WILLY WOO break up? 😭
I learnt a new word today - Immutable. Bitcoin has immutable, open, decentralized accounting.
I mean, TRIPLE ENTRY ACCOUNTING, mindlblown.
Texas $0 energy?? Let's go! Keep building Bitcoin Farms an Tesla Farms
Maybe read the Bitcoin Whitepaper again: it never mentions a 'ledger' at all - for a reason: blockchains are STATE MACHINES. You do NOT get a 'ledger' with peer-to-peer cash.
"I don't know who came up with that term [miner]." Tell me you haven't read the paper without telling me you haven't read the paper.
Great discussion really appreciated it. But the : Bitcoin is great because "it can't be seized by governments" but bitcoin is great because "anyone doing illicit activity on it will have it tracked and seized at the outpoints". Well, I heard some good news from the nft world
This guy doesn't know much about chips, yet he speaks about them with confidence, makes me distrust him
Didn't talk about Julian Assange because it is political. What a joke.
Galileo? I am not sure he has his history right.
Bitcoin transaction processing and verification centres
