Infinite Blues (A Retrostar Music Original)

I wrote the music for this song in 2002 and finally put lyrics to it this year. I was listening to a lot of Virgin Suicides at the time, so I wanted it to have that Playground Love feel to it. I originally played all the instruments.
Infinite Blues is a song with a sultry, smoky jazz lounge feel about a broken heart. It starts out about a woman who has lost her soul mate and thinks she's never going to get over it.
It shifts to the perspective of the sadness itself, in first person. Its the blues that doesn't want to leave, but it knows the day will come when the woman will find a new love eventually, and it will have to seek out a new broken heart.
Its a call out for everyone to find someone to love, make the blues the lonely one.
