This is great! I’ve worked in Portsmouth for 6 years….but the last two years my company has worked from home so I haven’t made the 1.5 hour drive out there since the pandemic. This video brings back some great memories.
Thanks for showing us Portsmouth and your feedback on the city. . I've been interested in seeing New England cities /towns at Christmas. I'm going to put Portsmouth on my list. Enjoyed it.
Looks like a beautiful city. I've only been there once when I was 18 to get my 1st tattoo. It does look poised to be the setting for the next, have to watch, Netflix series
Excellent job on this video. About 2/3 of this downtown area is covered in your footage. The other 1/3 is equally as beautiful. I'm planning to move back to Portsmouth next year, having been gone for 8 years. This was rated as "best small city in America" earlier this year by one of the major UA-cam creator companies that do travel/tourism videos... something I think people might want to know.
Thank! It def deserves the best small city in America award, I've always loved Portsmouth. I will def be back at some point, I'll be more thorough to see the rest of the downtown!
Thank you for your video with helpful comments! I wish day was not so blurry though... Nevertheless it's quite charming. We're planning to escape to this city for a couple of days, and your video really helped in decision making about visiting it.
Sorry the start was blurry for you, there's no reason the video itself should be blurry as it is 4k all the way through. Sometimes youtube will dumb down the quality if it detects the internet is a little slow. It'll look blurry if they drop it down below 720p. You can always click the gear on the video and force it to a particular resolution.
I really enjoyed your video....Living in Keene, I had not been able to travel recently but wanted to experience Portsmouth during the festive Christmas season....Portsmouth is my favorite city in NH....for the large seaport, the historic places and the many shops with crafts....I wonder if it has enough tourism to keep the many businesses afloat and during winter months? HOpe so...
I say as an Indonesian who's been living here and married to a local girl, yes, town is the primary tourism, but, come during autumn, you can explore some national parks, just don't forget to get some extra cash. It's pricey here.
I hope you enjoyed this video!
