Have you tried Formless Feint with Blades of the Pyre? You dodge the explosion, and it's spammable. I changed my set up cause it made the game too easy.
Not yet, in one of my replies to someone else here I figured that would work since you dodge every form of damage it seems. Right now I'm working on Mystic Spearhand but I'll probably go back to Thief to try that combo out soon
I tried it with along with blades of pyre. It was fun for a little bit, but being able to dodge meteoron and lightning from a drake while being able to just cast endless explosions seemed a bit....cheap? I ended up switching to warrior with max Dwarven cyclopean thunder or my sorcerer with augural flare and maelstrom. It's either big bonk or big magik for me now, thief felt like I was hitting enemies with a toothpick apart from when using formless/pyre For chimeras and all other field bosses except drakes, the battle is over within half a minute with warrior/sorc, but I'm lvl 56 with the maister skills too.
Formless Feint > attach onto weak spot > spam light attack till stamina runs out > jump off (you can deactivate mid-air) > repeat Gather all the stamina augments and you can beat almost every boss this way.
It really is that OP. I haven't tried it with the other master Thief move yet, but I assume if you activate Feint before exploding you would just dodge it, right?
I’m level 20 and the pawns were 20/19/26…no master nothing 😂😂😂 took about 20 minutes to beat this dude on 3rd try lol….my archer was level 4 I thought what the heck am I doing. But so satisfying when it died….needed to sneak to a camp. As we were all on deaths door. 😂😂
To be clear, I don't want it patched at all. It's a master skill and I think they should be really powerful, which it is extremely useful. Using Mystic Spearhand now and it's not that different from the Mirror Shield barrier other than that gets granted to nearby pawns and for a lesser duration, obviously. But yeah, I don't want Formless Feint to get nerfed

I ran into this bad boy at waterfall cave and the top of the map by accident and luckily smacked him around with my team.
the one in the waterfall cave is an even harder version. STumbled upon it while escorting the guy to the capitol, hard fight ;)

I can 3 shot these with my sorcerer. it's so easy. I wish the game had a better difficulty scale.
If they add something like Bitterblack Isle from DD1, you will not feel that way

You can mod the difficulty via the nexus, but it shouldn't be the case. Should just have selectable difficulty.

That's the beauty of single player games, things like this don't get patched cause it's intentional. They want you to be OP bro.
