    Seriously? Theses guys are some of the nicest, talented musicians in the metal world today and half the people on here are bashing them because of the way they speak and look....Seriously???

      Yeah, how dare those guys speaking english as a second language have accents! Guaranteed all the people bashing them for their english only speak one language, probably poorly.

    these guys are awesome. They dont "try" to hard anything. They go out on stage and play and kick some ass. Then have fun after the shows with their fans. I got both their picks from the 2 shows i went to and gladly they signed them. I even had a few drinks with them.

  • @sixstringfretter

    Olavi has his pickup selector taped in place. Looks like the center position, which is both pickups on. That gives him a much wider tone for chords.

    Hahahaha I love the way they just talk about random stuff . They look so nervous hahha I guess that the interviewers were like : '' Introduce yourself tell us a bit about yourself '' and they got all nervous and started talking about random things without making any sense haha lol reminded me of myself when I was younger xD ( they play really good though )

  • @GraysonDean1990
    @GraysonDean1990 13 років тому

    @Carnifex11100 it's not always about who plays more (or difficult) solos. I think, it's more about who contributes the most. Olavi pretty much wrote all songs up until the Oden Album. Johan S. started contributing starting the Twlilight. But Johan S. also writes kick ass songs like Live For the Kill.

  • @chronicriff
    @chronicriff 11 років тому

    almost, standard on a 7 string is BEADGBE, B standard on a six string is BEADF#B, to account for the different interval between (if you're in E standard tuning) the g and b strings

  • @DropdaLTDtoB
    @DropdaLTDtoB 12 років тому +1

    i'm not sure i've heard a guitar tone as good as Amon Amarth's sound in a lot of years. mixing a classic guitar with a modern high gain head obviously works well, especially for this sort of band. having the natural aggression from the explorer pickups would give them the perfect swedish death metal tone.

    @Thekingofthecrux Aye. It's the same principle used in the blues. It doesn't matter how much you say, or how intricately wordy you say it, but what you say, and the feeling we get from you saying it. Amon Amarth fits that perfectly. Simple, but sick.

  • @caioromans
