- Hello my beautiful fam! Welcome back to my kitchen today I’m going to share with you how to make super easy and delicious aguachiles. Keep in mind like every recipe and every household there are tons of variations that make this delicious recipe, this is the way I was taught. Ingredients: about 7 servings
2 lbs large raw shrimp
10 limes
1/2 large white onion
Cucumbers
Avocados
Tostadas
8 chile serranos
1 bunch cilantro
2 garlic cloves
Salt
Pepper
1 serving of love 💕

FYI, “cooking” in lime juice does not kill all bacteria. But, do not be afraid. It’s the same as eating a medium rare steak, sushi, or a sunny side up egg. So enjoy. Usual disclaimer: the very young, elderly, pregnant, and people with a suppressed immune system should use caution on what they consume.
David F. in my country we use lime juice to blend with raw beef end mix with vegetables end ingredients then eat.

I’ll admit, I’m lazy. I buy the peeled and deveined shrimp. Also, anything served with tostada shells is good. Let’s be honest, tostadas are an excuse to eat chips for dinner. 🤣🤣🤣

Loved you recipe, I make these a lot have tried them with cilantro and without as well. Now I only make them with out cilantro they taste a lot better

I made this last month and it was awwwwesome. I didn’t put that many serrano’s so it wouldn’t be spicy. My kids & I loved it but my husband needed it spicier. But overall it was the best I think I could eat this dish every week. Thank you so much for your recipe xoxo ❤️

I love this this is how I make them but you know that maguey sauce goes hard in our culture… so I add Maguey to the sauce. So I get some dark green/ blackish agua chile. 🤤
I love how Claudia leaves some of the cucumber skin on definitely will do that this time.
