- This is probably one of the best tournaments I've ever fished. While the fishing on Kerr Lake was tough, somehow, some way we found a way to make our first 2-day cut and finished in the top 5! Check out the video and see how I did it.

Congratulations and yes these southern lakes do fish tough. I'll be on Clark's Hill this weekend and I know it will be tough. But still gotta find them. Good luck next time on the water.

I'm in West Virginia and I am very much interested in the BFL as a co-angler. How would I go about this.
There's a couple ways to sign up. You can call the MLF offices and they'll take care of everything over the phone or you can do everything online which is what I do. To answer your question.... "how would I go about this...". It is basically just:
Pay the entry fee (online or over the phone)
Call into the meeting the night before the tournament (you'll receive a text with the meeting link)
Wait for your text the night before the tournament to get your boater's information
Call your boater to arrange a time to meet at the ramp
Then go fishing!

I finished 46th in the point standings. That basically puts me in. Yes.
You going kick yourself with net thing. It is what it is and u catching them landing them without one is good. The net gets in the way and hooks get caught inside it so u not waste time with net and more time on the fish.
