Well, i have used a china mobile wifi router with astrill on japan servers and can say the preformance is fantastic, virtually no hitches or problems, i play squad, tf2, war thunder for reference, sometimes some games may have connection issues related to some dll that astrill installs but as soon as you delete it/disableit, it works completely fine

Just came back from China last week. UA-cam app works most of the time but depends on the vpn server you connect to. Just try some of the xxx for china supercharged in the list. Mail apps didnt work with gmail but gmail webmail did work fine.
