Awesome video, I used to go here every summer with my family when I was young and climb the mountain. Lots of great places up north not many people know about
Allan So true, it is such an amazing region. Glad you enjoyed it!
There's another way up too, at the 1min 2sec mark take a sharp left... takes you up the back way... which is more sheltered from the wind. My favourite mountain, I miss Whangarei so much! (I posted 2 videos from the alternate route about 5 years ago)
Ahh yeah, Whangarei is really a beautiful place!
Such a beautiful climb and that coffee is well deserved. Don’t spoil it btw haha! Love your style and we keep this one in mind when we will explore these magical islands.
Haha thankss! Best way to celebrate at the summit! 🙌
That opening (and end) shot looks mindblowingly amazing!!
Thaaaanks a lot!!! 👊🏻 If you ever want to give us a tips about how you think we can make our videos better, we would love to hear it!
You guys are crazy with your climbing! Like your new profile picture too very cool :) How do you launch your drone at those heights?
Haha we always have the urge to reach the highest point. Ahh, you noticed! Thanks a lot! 😁 Most of the time I launch the drone from my hand. But the most difficult part is dealing with the wind while launching. Once it's up in the air, it's quite easy!
Where the f@#$ has the trig gone? I carved my name into that shit!
Haha they removed it! Because the peak is sacred to the local Māori, which we didn't know when we climbed it.
