I was an unattractive kid. Not exactly ugly... But just a weird looking small head and just skinny, and nerdy looking. Now I am in good ass shape. Get looks everywhere but I just still got that childhood shadow over me. I'm breaking out of it but it is tough to put the past where it belongs. Behind you. I remember a girl telling me "you know you're cute right?" and i literally sat there and was like "I don't know" and that kinda boosted my mindset on my looks as of late. It's hard our here.

Best thing to do is to question the beliefs, is it true ? is that true ? what's the Truth in the matter and proactively decide I no longer choose to have this belief ( "I'm this or that" ) because it does not serve me anymore , letting go of any emotions in the process.

Seemed like it was a lot easier being a handsome man in my early mid 20s but now at 35 with more wisdom and body and a profession, i feel super isolated, objectified, and often experience passive aggressiveness from grown men of all colors and middle aged to old white women cross all kinds of personal space boundaries. I don' t know if anyone else has had this experience but I genuinely cared more about the women I was dealing with when I was a bigger dude. Over the years as I've gotten into better physical shape I've began to experience the more shallow side of the women I deal/dealt with. Your right Rom when I was non select/pre select I more often than not found myself courting and nurturing the women I dealt with at the time.
As I've improved aesthetically I've found myself more cold and emotionally unavailable. Don't get me wrong though I've had very positive and even great experiences even when I was considered less attractive or not the particular type of guy a lot of the females I've dealt with would consider their ideal type of guy.
Even when the intimacy was good sometimes even extraordinary I eventually would lose to the imprint and at times that was very disappointing.
To this very day most of those same women try to contact and reconnect with me.
I’ve had a similar experience. Now that I’m in better shape, and have a better mindset, I find myself less interested in many girls for something serious and feel emotionally unavailable for the most part.
But back when I was skinnier and I’d say softer in my mentality, I had more to offer emotionally to girls, but they’d usually end up losing high interest.

well, something i learned lately as a surprise was even though im 6'3, make 100k, in shape(on the skinnier side, but i have visible abs and workout), and packing, women STILL dont just throw themselves at me. I think the 2 things im missing are nicer clothes, and some more masculine frame. I work from home so i don't dress up often nor have i taken time to go get some style going.
