Would this calculator work well since i have a algebra class.I have a class where i can't have notes and can only have calculators.I saw that this calculator displayed your problem and displayed answers as it were in a text book.I hope this one can do steps too.

I found my EL-516T runs into trouble with problems involving stacked fractions or equations with several fractions involved.
Even with text book display it sometimes gives the wrong answer.
This calculator is fine for home use but i would not recommend it on a test. Casio or TI is better because of being less likely to make mistakes or get wrong answers.

I bought the 516t recently. I looks great but it is very cheap feeling and the plastic used is so light and shit feeling. The calculator itself is very big in the hand and almost uncomfortable to use. I think I will stick with my older model 506.
