LN-570, a Mk 9LF with a RR Merlin 66, delivered 3rd April,1943, to 15th Maintanance Unit. Shot down and crashed while belonging to 611 Sq. Recovered in 2013 and later restored and rebuilt as a Mk. T9 twoseater (trainer). Engine original. Everything is marvellous about this machine.
ANY spitfire , from the early battle of britain ones, to the 'heavyweight' griffons, is beautiful. Congratulations to all involved with this little gem.

She looks fantastic!
Today on 3.jul.24 I had a glimpse of a formation of two F/A-18s escorting what it seemed a Spitfire over Fornebu, Oslo. Could it be this one?
