Thankyou Mitch for the detailed look at this hurricane. Unfortunately the path is just south of Kingston which the the storm surge will have the most impact with this particular track. Im hoping the shear will bring the winds down. The speed is quick which is very good to lessen the duration over Jamaica and the Caymans. Prayers for all the people in the path of this hurricane.🙏🌎🎛💙

Salvaged yesterday with no rain, just clouds and cool. Rained overnight and early this morning, still a chance of rain and maybe some sun today. But more rain is expected this week. It’s too much. Will be thinking of Jamaica today.

Appreciate the update, Mitch. I think your doing a great job covering Major Hurricane Beryl. Here in Northern Maine we're seeing above average temps today. Caribou did actually see the warmest June on record since records began in 1939.

the models are insistent on a S texas or N mexico landfall. insistent! even with the slight N motion due to longer major status. perhaps the models will be good this year with tracks? here is hoping
While I hate what these thing's do to people living on coastlines, it wouldn't hurt my feelings at all if the remnants came up here to SE OK and gave me some clouds and maybe rain. I love the smell of salty air that blasts up from the Gulf when these spinners do.

We start seeing some real strong winds
Even though it's not symmetrical and dealing with wind shear it's still impressive that it's maintaining 150 mph winds. In open waters this storm could restrengthen.
If the truth is scary, then so be it. Their gov and a lot of others are not taking this seriously enough.
Who says the Gov is not taking it seriously. They are the one who are trying to get the people to take this issue seriously. SMH. Jamaicans are hard headed when it comes to a disaster.

Wind shear is going to stall it in the gulf. Hopefully those bands don't come back in and it gets bigger. Landfall in texas is going to happen.
How accurate is the HWRF model. That is showing the worst for us here in Playa Del Carmen. I am wondering if I should hunker down or depending on what the storm does, should I go north or south. Either way please pray for me and my family 🙏
