I've been an avid fan of Tash's for the past 5 years, have seen her 3 times in concert (with my kids)...I'm 75 and in my 50+ years of concert-going, I've never witnessed a musician so creative, so Real with her emotions and lyrics, so Into her performance and her expression..she was obviously born to speak her truth through her songs. The audience falls in love with her in every concert...such magic!
I absolutely love tash I remember being a 17 year old in the city listening to her Busk and a month later going to a pub gig of hers with no more then 25 people then for 2 years later she sold out a 15,000 seated stadium. She’s just so awesome and unique
And we thought Jimi Hendrix was dead! No, he just changed age and gender and resurfaced in Australia! That solo at the end is just sick! As I said, Woodstock Hendrix vibe and a lot of Angus Young's finger exercises from "Thunderstruck". Another example of the incompetence of the bosses in music industry that this lady is unknown to the rest of the world. It also strongly reminded me of Tracy Chapman and her performance of "Fast Car" at the Nelson Mandela Tribute Concert in Wembley I saw live on TV at the time. One Woman (yes, with a capital W), one guitar (granted with a loop station here) and you can only rub your eyes in wonder. How many times do I have to reiterate this? Thanks Rosalie for bringing her up!!!👏👏💛💛💛
A few years ago a video from Jungle was suggested to me on You Tube. I followed her career a bit. I've loved listening to it ever since You can literally feel the energy in their songs. Lovit!
i used to watch her busking on the streets and heard her do this in her bedroom, it was inaculate, glad to see shes getting known at last and her story is kinda good
Her bedroom live Jumgle video 2016 with 164 million views was the moment that jumpstarted her career. Up 'til then she was a Melbourne brusker phemom❤❤❤
Welcome to Australia!! 🇦🇺💫💚I absolutely love Tash. She mastered her craft out busking like Ren. I’m praying they’ll find each other and do a collab…their artistry would explode for us all to witness
I'm fairly sure they identify as non binary and prefer they/them. Amazing artist, whom I've had the pleasure to see live and they control a crowd so dominantly with just them and a loop pedal. They are very much a vibe 💜🇦🇺
On a whim I saw her live in 2019. And let me tell you, it was an otherworldly experience. I've never been to a show with that kind of energy in a room. She has talent oozing from every pore.
What a great find. I'm starting to see more kids becoming multi instrumental taking advantage of how in their privacy they can mess around with sounds that they can build on. I love their faces. Is that where they're coming up with stink face?
I’ve only come across this lady recently! You should check out the original version of this that she did from her bedroom before she was even famous.. it’s stunning!!! She’s amazing!!
I first saw Tash on her NPR Tiny Desk Concertand she blew me away. She's the only person I have ever seen that actually looks like she's feeling the music. I'm convinced she would perform the exact same way in front of 10 people, as she would in front of 20,000 people. She's such a talent and just a great entertainer to watch.
I came upon Tash years ago looking for tunes with trumpet. Found her Murder to the Mind video. Then down the rabbit hole obsession with them. Amazing live. Definitely check out more!!
Tash Sultana is great! I would highly recommend listening to her live bedroom recordings of ‘Jungle’ and ‘Notion’, and ‘Can’t buy happiness’ is a long time favourite of mine. She tends to play the songs differently depending on where she is, how it’s recorded and how’s she giving at the time but the bedroom recordings are some of the better versions of the songs in my opinion.
Ahhh Tash, now you are definitely delving into my end of the pool Rosalie. Followed a little bit of a similar path to Ren with doing a lot of busking and street performing. I suppose being an Aussie like her I discovered her a bit earlier Jungle and Notion are two of my favourite Tash songs. She is amazing for a self taught musician. First version of Jungle I saw was a bedroom recording :-) just looping.
I feel, with some degree of confidence, that Tash and Ren were separated at birth. From the busking, the amazing guitar work, and the texture of their vocals. Loving this discovery
To be fair, her style seems more like Hendrix than Jimmy Page. That style is too clean to be compared to Jimmy Page, in my opinion. Page was beautifully sloppy. Wildstyle as we call it. Source: because I chose to steal from Gilmour and Stevie Ray Vaughan....(psychedelic blues + texas blues) ... .. .
I had the pleasure of seeing Tash at Red Rocks in 2019. An out of body experience. Tash identifies with the they/them pronouns. Tash is a master looping artist and absolutely sheds every instrument they pick up. Thanks for this reaction and spotlighting this truly talented artist. ❤❤
Thanks for reacting to an Aussie classic. Tash is up and coming and making waves. As much as I love this reaction and version of jungle I have to say her original take of it in B&W is legendary and worth listening to after this version. The soul in the original is crazy! ua-cam.com/video/Vn8phH0k5HI/v-deo.html
Used to watch them busk in Melbourne, moved back to the UK and saw them in London at a sold out O2 academy. Can’t describe how engaging their performances is it’s a borderline spiritual experience. Will always pay good money to go see them, they’re tremendous
I'd spend mega money I don't have to see her live. Last, show, "grass seats" but if your motivated and short people are so nice and let you up front. Its a culture.
Thanks Rosalie! Thanks for introducing me to another great artist, was just watching some Ren/busker videos & it lead me this GEM! I knew it was gonna be good cuz of what you said!
Ooh, a musician local to me! Tash is awesome!! She’s a sweetheart in person! I’ll keep poking you with Kalandra as you asked me to - Borders (music video) or Brave New World (live at Kulturkirken Jakob)
Australia has marvelous gems which are amazing! I've mentioned it before, but another gem from "Down Under" is Stevie Wright... Evie (part I, II & III), a classic!
Hello Rosaline!! So happy you reacted to this amazing song. I am a metalhead but Tash is my guilty pleasure. She may doesn't compose meta songs but her soul is as metal as f...😅🤘
Loved this reaction, just like i loved your Hi Ren reaction 🤯 Since you're amazed by both Tash and Ren, you'll without any doubt, get blown away by Asaf Avidan, especially his In A Box II version of 'Your Anchor'... He's litterally Ren meets Tash Sultana meets Janis Joplin 🤩
Thank you for reacting to them such a great one person show I like to think that they do a fusion of blues/reggae/rock/maybe a little EDM style just such great talent to behold I got to experience them once and loved every second of it this is relaxing and chill and fun and dance Hype all at the same time as always your ride or die forever EyyyOoooo
Tash is a legend! You helped me find Ren. Thanks for that, you should check out Susanne Sundfør - white foxes also when the Lord, it's about her friend who died from anorexia.
Hey. As always thank you for this joy- and thoughtful reaction! By the way: I really like your own stuff! Wonderful songs, carried by a beautiful voice! One thought just popped up while listening to it: Have you ever tried adding a baritone guitar to „all of me“? Hope to see these songs performed live someday. Greetings from Eisenach, Thuringia, Germany
Tash, ren, john buttler and dub fx, that would be my most favorite colab. Btw, i am very sure you will love tash sultanas "blackbird" as well 🔥🔥🔥 Oh and if you would be at it try dub fx "made" and john buttlers "ocean" the oldest version of 14 years ago, still the most sublime of guitar pieces imo, im very sure you will feel this song as well, it has a lot of meaning to himself, and myself.
Some of the coolest people in the world are in Australia, I swear! She’s great. Is your guitar a Carver? Those sound nice! You should play on your channel sometime! Great vid, as always!
Your correct I started playing in 1972 and have a few years on you I think she is so talented
Agree totally. Her music and performance blows me away. Nearly 70 and I'm loving her.
My daughter introduced me to her music a few years ago!
I was blown away when I realized she's a one woman band . Amazing talent
I absolutely love tash
I remember being a 17 year old in the city listening to her Busk and a month later going to a pub gig of hers with no more then 25 people then for 2 years later she sold out a 15,000 seated stadium. She’s just so awesome and unique
Oh gawd. I envy you. I’d love to have seen them in such a small venue!
Wow!!! You bring the juiciest music. She. Is. Amazing.
And we thought Jimi Hendrix was dead! No, he just changed age and gender and resurfaced in Australia! That solo at the end is just sick! As I said, Woodstock Hendrix vibe and a lot of Angus Young's finger exercises from "Thunderstruck".

She is absolutely phenomenal. I want Ren and her do a collab already
A few years ago a video from Jungle was suggested to me on You Tube.
I followed her career a bit.
I've loved listening to it ever since
You can literally feel the energy in their songs. Lovit!
Great choice - super nice track and artist. Yeehaaa. Much Love
Aww I love this artist I’m glad she is seeing some recognition
I cannot believe for the first time I was ahead! I saw her way back in 2017 and again in the 2020s ans I could barely recover from sooo much dancing!
Need to check out her MGMT Electric Feel version! Full body feels! Tash is a genius of an artist!
I often have Tash Sultana days :) I love Tash!
❤ I saw her life some years ago and still I'm smiling. Unbelievible, incredible, unique,...
i used to watch her busking on the streets and heard her do this in her bedroom, it was inaculate, glad to see shes getting known at last and her story is kinda good
Out of this world every time she performs.
Been a fan of Tash Sultana for a few years now and she's criminally under-appreciated. So glad a reactor has found her
Her filming the audience was like she didn't believe it - just as the audience couldn't believe what she's just done!
nah man! got to go to the living room version and then come here! the real ones remember how long its taken for her to blow up!
Saw Tash several years ago and have been a fan since. Absolutely amazing energy live.
Tash put on one of the best concerts I've ever been too. I want to catch her next time she is in Red Rocks, VIBES!
If could double like I would!!!
oh I hope people don't leave before the 12 minute mark.... WOOOOOW!!!!!! 🔥🎸
Tash Sultana is one of my favorite artists
Tash is effing brilliant!!! I randomly came across the live bedroom recording of this song maybe 5 or 6 years ago. I'm so glad I didn't skip over it.
Notion by her is a great listen to
Her bedroom live Jumgle video 2016 with 164 million views was the moment that jumpstarted her career. Up 'til then she was a Melbourne brusker phemom❤❤❤
I don't think I've ever heard her voice is like captivating terrifying at the same time. I don't know how to describe Harshnest Hope
Tash is yet another fabulously talented Aussie artist. We have so many down here that need to be discovered by the masses.
On Ren's Patreon he mention this wonderful artist and I am HOOKED!! Just love this and the bedroom version. Great choice.
❤️❤️ SHE DOES TINY DESK CONCERT on NPR!!! She's phenomenal!!!!
Welcome to Australia!! 🇦🇺💫💚I absolutely love Tash. She mastered her craft out busking like Ren. I’m praying they’ll find each other and do a collab…their artistry would explode for us all to witness
She’s got crazy stage presence. Born performer.
I'm fairly sure they identify as non binary and prefer they/them. Amazing artist, whom I've had the pleasure to see live and they control a crowd so dominantly with just them and a loop pedal.
They are very much a vibe 💜🇦🇺
Hearing something I would probably incorrectly describe as Bob Marley + Amy Winehouse + some je ne se quo....
Is why I love music. This is awesome.
Reminds me of Xavier Rudd. The whole one-man-band and super chill Aussie vibes. Definitely should check him out too
On a whim I saw her live in 2019. And let me tell you, it was an otherworldly experience. I've never been to a show with that kind of energy in a room. She has talent oozing from every pore.

I know this song! It’s freaking amazing! I am really hyped about you reacting to this! Thanks Rosalie!
Wow. Just imagine the magic she and Ren would be able to create togethet. Got to hear more. She is GOOOOOOD.
Lene61/Denmark
I'm seeing Tash Sultana in London this summer, so exited, been such a big fan of hers for years!!!!
We love Tash down here in the upside down continent. Much love and love much
Wow and you have sent me down another rabbit hole. Epic thank you. XxxhugsxxX 💚
I’ve only come across this lady recently! You should check out the original version of this that she did from her bedroom before she was even famous.. it’s stunning!!! She’s amazing!!
Check out her cover of MGMT - Electrical Feel on Triple J. similar vibes
Discovering Tash is a moment.
I haven't listened to her in a while, but I remember this show well.
What a fire burns inside that young woman. 🔥🔥
I love her bedroom performance of this. That’s how I discovered her. It’s awesome!
Tones and I just did a Triple J cover of Achilles with Melbourne Symphony orchestra…. She was a busker like Tash. Both amazing
Most live versions are different, she goes with the crowd kinda. They and ren and a studio and imagine the art 🔥🔥🔥
My brain just exploded. That should happen
On Twitch last night Ren said he'd love to do a collab with Tash. And NF.
Was watching too bro and nearly shit my pants when he said that.
That would be divine ❤
Właśnie słuchałam Tash 😊po raz pierwszy. I była to czarnobiała wersja Jungle. Absolutnie zakochałam się w Jej duszy!
I first saw Tash on her NPR Tiny Desk Concertand she blew me away. She's the only person I have ever seen that actually looks like she's feeling the music.
I'm convinced she would perform the exact same way in front of 10 people, as she would in front of 20,000 people.

But don't forget Murder to the Mind, Synergy, Gemini...all so different, all such genius in their expression.
Also, Ren does a bit of a cover of this song on one of his busking videos.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Tash Sultana!!! You need to check out her version of Electric eel is the best!!
i love how the music got you so hard with the vibe chills you had to put on a jacket
I try to loop a little, it's so much harder than people like her make it seem, she's amazing! AND her guitar skills blow me away.
I feel, with some degree of confidence, that Tash and Ren were separated at birth. From the busking, the amazing guitar work, and the texture of their vocals. Loving this discovery
It’s like Bob Marley, Tones and I and Jimmy Paige had the most glorious baby!
To be fair, her style seems more like Hendrix than Jimmy Page. That style is too clean to be compared to Jimmy Page, in my opinion. Page was beautifully sloppy. Wildstyle as we call it.

Tash identifies as a woman. She’s from my home town. That’s it!!
Tash is a very talented person ,I love her Blackbird 7 layer session song ,she can
play a mean acoustic guitar!..😎
Great review & reaction!..👍
#TashSultana 🔥🔥!!! 🌎💗
She's so good you randomly spawned a sweater 😂
Thanks for reacting to an Aussie classic. Tash is up and coming and making waves.

Tash is a music factory with a beautiful sense of melody.
Loving this! It reminds me of the way KT Tunstall live loops Black Horse & The Cherry Tree, fun vibes all around!! ❤️
She has mastered the looper. Great guitar player also. Love to see a Ren and Tash collaboration.
yup
I'd spend mega money I don't have to see her live. Last, show, "grass seats" but if your motivated and short people are so nice and let you up front. Its a culture.
Reinhardt Burh is also one of those phenomenal looping gods
She’s wild..been a fan for many years. The entire Flowstate album is increduble. Pretty lady is a great vibe too!
Thanks Rosalie! Thanks for introducing me to another great artist, was just watching some Ren/busker videos & it lead me this GEM! I knew it was gonna be good cuz of what you said!
thank you :)
Great time for Tash, lovely stuff.
"Blackbird" from Tash Sultana is epic (7 Layers Sessions version).
Amazing artist!!, thank you for introducing me to her.
love that you found our Tash.
Rosalie! Your singing! Now I want to hear more of your own music...
thank you :) check the links in the description if you like :)
They are so freaking amazing.

Ooh, a musician local to me! Tash is awesome!! She’s a sweetheart in person!
I’ll keep poking you with Kalandra as you asked me to - Borders (music video) or Brave New World (live at Kulturkirken Jakob)
I have seen her live at reggae festivals she is one Jewel simply amazing 👏
I saw them years ago live and haven't stopped being a fan since. They are absolutely in my opinion the best multi instrumentalist alive right now.
Them? She’s a solo performer
@@gregm55mullen62 tash uses they/ them pronouns
@@bissy_in_melbourne Oh I see…
Such a true artist!
Her npr tiny desk video is awesome too!
Australia has marvelous gems which are amazing! I've mentioned it before, but another gem from "Down Under" is Stevie Wright... Evie (part I, II & III), a classic!
MB14 | La Cup Worldwide Showcase 2018 loopstation beat box amazing performance
Your voice is heavenly
Damn that solo just went through my soul. Btw Ren said on twitch yesterday that there is a collab comming between him and Tash. 😍
I Love You Tash
This is sooo awesome. Like Jamaica meets Woodstock with Hendrix on the git.

thank you :) i'm not familiar with a baritone guitar, but have a feeling it would sound lovely. thank you for the kind comment.
Rosalie you should check out her cover of Bon Iver's flume (Deezer sessions) live from lonely lands studio. Stunning vocals
Big wowzers !!!
Nice to see you checking out some Aussie artists. Check out Matt Corby - Brother.
PS. To fit with us Aussies, Melbourne is pronounced Mel-bin ;)
She's good, but not seeing all you are. I am just happy she is touching people's hearts! 🤘😃
Tash, ren, john buttler and dub fx, that would be my most favorite colab.
