This was the best ride. I remember we were all confused then it kept going up and down. Suddenly it stop and the wall was open and bang! We’re at the top and everyone was like woahhhh. It took me a while to realised we’re looking the real outside scenery cause everything was dark beforehand. We all screamed like yeaa! After everyone realised we’re at the top.
I went to vacation in France less than a week ago, first two days at Disneyland and the rest of the week around Paris. BOY this was my favorite part. The atmosphere, the adrenaline of the fall, EVERYTHING. I’m still so mad about that fact that I got to go on it only one time.
The malevolent machine and the fifth dimension have the same atmosphere as the original, someone said that the fifth dimension was more suspenseful when riding it.
i remember i was 7 years old and i went on this and cause i am really light when we dropped down i flew off my seat n my parents had to hold me down for the whole ride🤣
Just did this ride for the first time today, I wish I could attach the photo but the first drop came completely out of nowhere I wasn’t holding onto anything and completely SHIT myself! Wicked ride staff set the ambiance really well too it’s a must ride for Disney
I'd say that this is probably a much cooler version of the tower of terror. I went on this ride when I went to Disneyland Paris for the first time back in 2019 and I had no idea that they had recently changed the ride experience a bit. But with that, It definitely made it a bit scarier. Especially the couple times I got scared by literally the same bellhop
I remember that I went on this ride and when I got near to the top I remember the ghost girl saying "Whatever you do don't scream!" and a few seconds later we just dropped and evryone screamed.🤣 To this day I laugh at how funny that is.
At DLP, the scenes and drop sequence are different depending on which shaft you take. The left one has scenes similar to the original version but is less intense than the other 2 shafts. The one on the right has some great lighting effects and starts after keeping you in complete darkness for a few seconds. While the one in the middle has a new kind of drop where your body feels like it's falling but you can see yourself going upwards, it also drops you at the end of each scene.
Also, another thing, depending on which floor you take the elevator from, group floor or upper floor, when the ride starts you"ll either get shot upwards or dropped downwards. For example, my favorite one to take my friends on is upper-right, because after the elevator doors close and you're left in complete darkness with nothing happening, you'd expect a jumpscare where the ride drops you but nope! you get launched at full speed upwards and experience some great airtime at the top, before reaching the first scene. It provides a great "WTF" moment.

Story that happened, yesterday I went to disneyland paris and I rode this ride with my popcorn bucket lmao and the popcorn FLEW OUT ONTO PEOPLE and they were laughing so hard they said they thought it was part of the show and they also said : THANK U FOR THE POPCORN ! Best experience ever ! Don't recommend for kids under 9
Wow I think the ghost sequence is creepier than Orlando. Great video! At least we didn't hear any voices I would freak out more over the child's voice I think. I went yesterday in Orlando. My brother screamed and cried. He told me I was crazy for riding with a straight face. 😂

I rode in Orlando despite having a fear of heights and roller coasters. I was like oh it’s so pretty, seeing all the stars, but as soon as the falling started I was screaming louder then everyone. I heard people laughing at me. Got off and my knees were shaking I felt like I was gonna pass out and there is no where to sit so I’m like holding on to the shelves at the gift shop. Never again 😁

I accidentally rode the tower of terror. The whole time when I was riding it, I was holding on to my mom’s arm cuz it was that scary. But that was a long time ago. I like scariness now. I might ride it again. I’m just sensitive to roller coaster like rides cuz my goes up every time when I fall down so fast.
Hi Cynthia, they are scary when you first go on them, but after a few rides I think they become more exciting to ride, and some coasters make you feel that way but if you start with the easy ones and lead up to the big ones, you may find that better. Thanks for watching and the great comment ❤️👍

Hi, I use a small Camera and if they see it they tell you it’s not allowed, but they don’t tell you that you can’t video everything before the ride and so I play dumb, because I think we are creating a great advert for the parks by showing how good it is 👍

There are 3 different experiences, it just depends on what lift shaft you get on some are more scary than others - we’ve done all 3 and love them all 😂 Arr so Sorry you didnt enjoy it 🥲

I did this attraction twice at disneyland paris once to test it (I thought I was going to die of fear🤣) and the second because my sister didn't want to do it again without me😭 one of the cast put the atmosphere was great In other words, it was the attraction that gave me the most sensations, even more than rc racer or spacemountain😂 But it was still too good🥰

While we love the original Orlando version, this one in France is amazing and has 3 different versions to it, so you see the french have a really great Tower of Terror 🎉🎉🎉❤️
FYI there are three different rides in the Paris Tower Of Terror, you got the 5th dimension, i prefer this one, but the 2 others are very cool too 😎 Second information, at the start of the ride, the girl sings "il pleut il mouille c'est la fête a la grenouille", but it is only the french traduction of "it's raining it's pooring" that we can hear in the original ride. Maybe we can hear it too in the US' TOT?

Nah the old version was boring as hell the drop were all the same u knew what was coming even if I would like different characters for each shaft it’s a yes for me the new version always surprises me every time and I’m never getting bored of it yet
I know it does 4 different drops at Disney world, but I’ve been to Disney world and stayed for 2 weeks I got back 1 week ago. But I just thought it was weird how there was basically no spot where you go forward.
Yes your right about it not going forward, but they a different sequence in each shaft that you ride as they are all different and it makes for a good surprise especially when you don’t know which does what. We rode them for the first time last year and really enjoyed them all, and that’s from us being a lover of the Orlando version. 👍
It really is, and the difference doesn’t detract from the original story as it’s about the young girl from the original. If you ever get a chance to go on it, you should. 👍
I took my 5 year old with me as he loves ghosts, boy what a mistake. The drop is too much for such a small body. The height restriction should be higher.

Hi, In Orlando the height restriction is 40 inches tall .. which is approx 1.02 metres .. he was and still is very tall 😂😂 you can see our videos from our first time in WDW in 2004 in our playlist ..

While we love the original Orlando version, this one in France is amazing and has 3 different versions to it, so you see the french have a really great Tower of Terror 🎉🎉🎉❤️

Second information, at the start of the ride, the girl sings "il pleut il mouille c'est la fête a la grenouille", but it is only the french traduction of "it's raining it's pooring" that we can hear in the original ride. Maybe we can hear it too in the US' TOT?
Are the 3 versions very diferrent from each other? Or is the only difference the storyline? Bc I cant find anything about this on the internets
@@XrimOfficial Yes, they are different. There is actually a BTS video about it on Disney+ now called Behind the Attraction. It explains the storyline on each and the different physics behind each version of the ride.

I was in Disneyland Paris twice, but always skip this and two other drop down attractions. I like going horizontally, but not 10 floors down at once vertically.

It's different to the one in Orlando, but there is a story behind it and you have to ride it to really appreciate it.
The old version was much better, everything that made the original ride so good and unique is gone now.... another great ride ruined.
This was our first time in Disneyland Paris so don’t know the other version 😃👍

Nah the old version was boring as hell the drop were all the same u knew what was coming even if I would like different characters for each shaft it’s a yes for me the new version always surprises me every time and I’m never getting bored of it yet

They all do random drops now, including the Orlando version, it adds to the enjoyment of the ride 👍
I know it does 4 different drops at Disney world, but I’ve been to Disney world and stayed for 2 weeks I got back 1 week ago. But I just thought it was weird how there was basically no spot where you go forward.
Yes your right about it not going forward, but they a different sequence in each shaft that you ride as they are all different and it makes for a good surprise especially when you don’t know which does what.
We rode them for the first time last year and really enjoyed them all, and that’s from us being a lover of the Orlando version. 👍

I took my 5 year old with me as he loves ghosts, boy what a mistake. The drop is too much for such a small body. The height restriction should be higher.
Hi , I suppose it depends on the child , some would love the drop whilst others might be afraid , which would apply to adults also 😢
We did take our then 3 year old on this ride in Orlando and he loved it … 😂

Hi, In Orlando the height restriction is 40 inches tall .. which is approx 1.02 metres .. he was and still is very tall 😂😂 you can see our videos from our first time in WDW in 2004 in our playlist ..
