Basecoat:
* 2 parts floetrol
* 1 part artist loft flow white
* 1 part satin enamel
* .25 part GAC 800
* Water to thin
Puddle Paint mixture:
* 1 part paint (less with golden fluids)
* .5 part floetrol
* Squirt of liquatex pm
* Water to thin, similar consistency to base
Cloud over mix:
* 1 part floetrol
* 1 part satin house paint
* Touch of satin enamels
* Acrylic paint color if tinted
* Water to thin
Color correction, it was not Prussian blue, it was Phthalo turquoise.👍

Embellishments are SO FUN and bring the painting to another level. I love that relaxing time afterwards as opposed to the adrenaline of the pour. This painting is very good Sara 🖤 I'm so happy to be collaborating with someone who has so much passion. Lotsa love to ya!

Another masterpiece. Artists often say...this was inspired by.. whatever. But there is an excitement in your voice everytime you speak of Elyse that makes it undeniable. (Whose heart doesn't pound?😊) It is your tiniest of details that make your pieces dance. Here the embellishments added depth, drew one toward your color, and gave the eye other interesting places to land. It is the time invested in making your pieces fully actualized that takes your work to a level most pour artists will never attain. And yes Elyse is another artist whose vision and patience allow her to go to that other stratosphere.

It did sell quick, I’m so grateful. You’re right I love Elyse! I feel the same for MelyD. Those awesome Canadians, they really paved the way. It’s been such a joyful thing turning it into my own process, but then also realizing that the roots on which it grew came from these beautiful individuals. Are used to do a lot of straight pour work, inspired heavily by Sarah Mack an Cathleen Ozmore.🙏❤️

I love anything healing related. Sadly I have terminal metastatic breast cancer. But, I’m fighting.🙏🏻 I have Reiki healing and I swear by it, it’s beautiful ☺️
That’s another idea, Chakra colour paintings for healing. 🌈 It’s strange, I always am drawn to the paintings you do with green, green is a very healing colour.
I’ll keep my eyes peeled to see if those clever wheels of yours are inspired enough to create something like this.

Hi Sara. I love your work and have been following you now for a while. I haven’t been brave enough to try your technique to get those wonderful large cells. I can’t remember what you call them. You refer to the use of pour over paint. I don’t know what that means. I don’t see that you pour paint over things so it seems like it must be part of the mixture. I hope you’re reading your comments and will be able to explain you have so many comments, 171 so far just in this video, that I think it might be hard for you to get to me. I only hope that you do. I love your work, watching you, and listening to what you have to say. Keep up the great work and I find you a true inspiration to me as a fellow artist.

Its honestly insane to me how beautiful your work is, so constantly beautiful. Loved it as it was, but you did so great at adding just the right embellishments here and there...enough to make you stop and want to investigate, but not so much that my eyes felt worn out. Leaving some of those soft lines... just gorgeous. :)
