She’s a very good singer, excellent from a technical point of view, but she sings the songs like a perfect robot singing the song perfectly to me. There isn’t a human, dynamic layer. Sydnie Christmas who just won GBT is a prime example of someone who has bucket loads of that dynamic, storytelling ability and is much stronger to me because of it. Lucy is technically faultless tho and she is so so young, she has years to add range to her vocals.
