Many ASMR performers now rely on their physical appearance to create pleasure - which many times would ultimately translate into sexual pleasure. When the physical identity of the performer is more of a mystery, the brain is able to take in the true ASMR response better as the sexual response system is not directly engaged. To clarity further this postulate, imagine you want to drink lemonade. If you want to taste the lemon, you avoid using sugar... but if you want to have a wider audience, you add sugar... and more sugar and more sugar... to a point where you are no longer tasting lemon, but sugar. Pure ASMR is lemon. Pop, Social and Fetish ASMR are coated with distracting sugar. With Fetish ASMR, the audience choses the performance based on a sexual fantasy they may have: The Hunk, The Babe, The Doctor, The Super Hero. They do so to engage their brain sexually and consciously. There is already an anticipated and expected pleasure; whereas, in ASMR, you never truly know what you will feel until you face the stimulus. You really should of left it after the first paragraph, and saved the rest for some article or something. But based on most of the somewhat mainstream ASMR I've seen, I have to say you're really, and I mean really quite over-inflating the topic. None of what I read past the first paragraph really seems to apply to most asmr I seem to stumble upon.
In none have I seen an ASMR artist be half naked or enhance their sexual appearance. Do they sometimes dress nice or put on more make up for the camera? Sure. But what's wrong with that? If you're going to be on camera for thousands or millions of people then there's nothing wrong with wanting to look nice. And they help if they're naturally hot or attractive wtf? So why blame it on them?
Post that article on Wikipedia. Not on a video. I’m here to tingle, not ruminate on the particulars of ASMR and what does and doesn’t constitute a “real” experience. I’m sure your thoughts are well thought out, so go Wiki, friend.

you have the best videos. I have pit bull and a shepard who i love, but they decided to start fighting with eachother about a year ago. All day i take care of them, but it is stressfull always being "on" and keeping them in theire sepperate areas. So when they take a nap it gives me time to listen to you and totally relax and feel refreshed, really at this point your videos are the one thing that helps me. Thank you. You are an artist.

Omg I literally cannot with this video...I mean I listen to different videos every night. But this is the ONLY video that puts me out INSTANTLY...omg I wanted to rest for a few minutes so I put on this video...I took a 2 and a half hour nap... XDD.
