Julian's laugh sent me, dude. The pure, genuine cackling as he realizes how bad it must actually be. Also the laughing frame of him at the end captures his personality perfectly 👌
i'm a devoit postal fan and i've not seen this clip until im writing this comic, the fact that i managed to say the same answer of 'Drawn Together' and 'Below' at the same time as ding-dong shows just how correct he is
idk if i have said this before but i love just how you draw in general especially Julian (he looks so expressive and good!) The last frame is probably one of the best drawings of Julian that I've ever seen since it just so expressive and pretty to look at and acbjfgnhfgkjdfjudfbjufhk I JUST LOVE IT KEEP UP THE GOOD JOB
The way you draw Julian is so good i cant explain it but it makes me wanna EAT ur artwork it is so satisfying!! The style, his hair texture and his teeth and his facial expressions and proportions, way to nail some good design!
My mind has been torn apart by the internet, I interpreted you saying Postal is not based around comedy, but comedy, then based, as if you replaced the gold in comedy gold with based, which leaves us with comedy based.
tbh i feel like postal 1 is a bit more serious than hatred in the way that you can see postal dudes mental decline into insanity meanwhile notim is just full of pure hate, idk lol i still love both games
@@lemonmeat right, both were edgy. but Postal set out to tell an engaging story and used shock as a narative tool. To give you highs of being awesome and lows of reality setting in. Hatred set out to shock, because it's cool and sells, had no real point to it. but i'm not immune, Deadspace was the same to me, we all wanna be cool guy McGee once in a while and just have some mindless hyperviolent power fantasy.
Postal 2 was basically just bait, they scattershot every redhot topic at the time. it doesn't really have writing as such, it's just a compilation of current event topics. The only throughline was that "people be self righteous and crazy yo". Today it's not even shocking anymore. a thing of its time, it even got on TV, great troll. Postal 4 however, i thought it was perfectly timed to take a dump on the madness. Both sides were literally rioting and american politics were boiling red hot, and with Twitter the self righteous outrage would only have been magnified, but it was just peepee poopoo humor. it had zero teeth, even GTA V (2013) is a more critical lampoon of the current day. Too bad but not entirely unexpected. (and people acting like it's any better than Postal 3 is just falling for marketing if you ask me.)
Man, you're SUPER good at animating these guys, and you really seem to let loose with drawing Julian and it's super fun and works wonders for the comedy!
As a postal fan, that is 110% true The funny/sad part is tho, is that it was intentional on postals part, but the writers on drawn together tried and still got close to it
As a huge postal 2 fan im not entirely sure the game even has any writing and isnt just a string of poop/piss/dick/racial stereotype jokes until the credit sequence
I'd argue above drawn together since the jokes in Postal are a lot more tame than Drawn Togethers joke. But i think DD is referring to the writing complexity and I do think there's better writing in the jokes in Drawn Together than Postal
Of course ostals writing doesnt take itself seriously, i would say its supposed to be terrible on purpose due to there being no actual storyline, its just the average day of the week in postal land to have weird fuckin people shit on each other (both literally and metaphorically). Its all stupid but its an fps where you have the choice of killing everyone or killing no one. Good game to me
No dude it’s easy shock humor design to appeal the edgy pre teens and teens that why the game was made that’s why a lot of edgy teens who grew up still like it to this day because nostalgia is legal heroin, and it will make you like things, regardless of how good they are example being I like the prequel Star Wars
Julian’s reaction to grading something’s writing below drawn together is very appropriate

It's the total lack of hesitation to Julian's follow-up questions that sends me.
I realize this WAS an actual conversation, but seeing this makes me want to see more conversations like this in animated shows and movies.
i love improv cartoons that use genuine conversations
I bet Julian would like your art style, it looks real good, particularly the way you draw extreme expressions
This genuinely flattered me, thank you so much!
@@Freshydesh no problem, dude, I like your work
It reminds me of how he draws himself sometimes
Julian would like it, unfortunately after the accident he can’t perceive drawings anymore 😢
Looks gay like them.
As a Postal fan, I can indeed confirm the writing is below Drawn Together
With intention
@@atomiccowboy8998There you go giving it too much credit.

This is by far the weirdest yet kindest compliment I've gotten thank you sososo much
That revolted 'eurgh' is legendary
Postal 2 onward is comedy based, Postal 1 takes itself quite seriously, but not as seriously as Hatred.

As someone who has only played the first Postal game,
Im so in love with your shapes!!!! I thought i was obsessed with your art style already and then Julian laughed and now i have to eat this video
As a postal fan, that is 110% true

Genuinely would love a whole show full of odd conversations like the one podcast with Ricky Jerveas. Also in your art style. Especially in your style
Who else up postaling they dude rn
Who up signing they petition
Beautiful, love your style
I love how he looks when he laugh :)
I love seeing this in my feed now of all times
People enjoy postal in the same way they enjoy low-quality b movies
they were talking about postal 3
love this style, great work as always
Postal 1 is a full-on psychological horror game, but the other games absolutely match Ding Dong's description.
