When 7 years old children welcome you in their country...that tells you a lot about Egyptian hospitality ❤
i will never forget my visit to Fez, Morocco in 2017. It was my first evening there, I walked outside my hostel, a little girl, maybe 5 years old playing in the ally, with a BIG smile said to me "salam"! Every where I went, the locals said "welcome" which was why it was my second visit to Morocco, my first visit was 2015
Welcome to Egypt, you will find us all as Egyptians, we welcome you, my friend
I was in Egypt in February and took that train from Cairo to Aswan. Then I took a Nile cruise up to Luxor. It's an amazing country to visit.
you could even take the train from alexandria to aswan crossing most of the country from north to south.
how much was the entire trip
How I can buy the train ticket in advance?
How much was the Nile cruise?
I like the sound of this !!!
I’m loving your Egypt videos. It’s opened my eyes and given me a different perspective on the country...
I always thought it was a dangerous place for tourists.....
It looks much safer than Most parts of England.
Egypt looks an amazing and beautiful place with such friendly people.
I will visit one day 🙏🇪🇬
It's even safer than your bed 😁
Greetings from Egypt🌹
Welcome anytime 🤍
Thanks for your sweet words dear, you are most welcome
Dude if you ever visit cairo mention me in this comment and we could hang out cause most people just visit like 5 or 6 spots in cairo. Leaving without realizing that greater cairo is 5 times larger than what they have seen (over 80km from end to end) and they never get to experience all the faces of cairo.
Of course it’s safer than England
The sound of train running reminds like I am traveling in my country 🇵🇰
My dream wish to travel in Egypt once in my life. Love from Pakistan 🥰🇵🇰🥰
Thank you, darling🇪🇬💐😍👍👁️
@@aymanelattar3651 darling 😚🥰

Hello! We are going to Egypt next year. Thank you for all the videos you have done on your travels there!! 😁
You'll be more than welcome 💕❤💕
Hi Jason, I did a similar trip in 2009. Watching your vlog and I’m wanting to go back. I saw similar lovely children and received a lot of Egyptian hospitality- the ancient world is phenomenal to see but also the children’s faces were so beautiful- it’s strange how understated Egypt is. Yet there is so much beauty - thanks for sharing your journey and brave of you to travel at this time ✨👏🏼
I did the same trip in 2009 as well, in November. Took the train from Cairo straight to Aswan, then Nile boat trip back to Luxor.
Thanks for the love you guys shown Egypt ❤️❤️❤️😘😘
@KKRR Tutu i went in January - the weather was really nice, I'd like to go back. I am actually looking for an Egyptian person I have lost contact with - do you know how i might find her?
My Beautiful country 💜❤️

Thank you for sharing , Hope you are enjoying your time there.
You're so courageous Jason! Traveling alone in a country you don't know, wow!! Love your videos by the way :)
Enjoy Aswan, I was there one year ago this time. My favorite place in Egypt, Elephantine Island was a great vacation stay within my vacation. I hired a row boat and was taken to a tiny beach just north of the beach below the Monastery of St Simeon for a Nile swim. A memorable experience!
Was Aswan worth visiting or can one skip it? If it’s worth it, please justify :)
you are so lucky man you can travel and see Egypt . one of my dream travel to Egypt and see this beautiful city😍

The sunset and sunshine are awesome.
Love all your videos! I’ve been to Egypt. It was a fabulous adventure from beginning to end much like yours. Thanks for your work on this!
DL Thomas how much did it cost
@@wakeup7874 traveling in the Middle East can get expensive but it all depends on your personal taste in travel. Air bnbs are everywhere, food is always available cheaply. Travel will be your most expensive investment. Don’t cut seeing the major sites. They are spectacular.
DL Thomas okay thanks I thought purchasing a house was the most expensive investment!!!!
Happy visit to our country .. Welcome to Egypt .. I wish you a happy visit
Very interesting...I’ve always wondered what those fields next to the Nile looked like! Thanks.
Hi Jason... A very interesting viewing. Nice one. When I was 15/16 years old my family lived in Cairo for 3 years, and my sisters and myself where at boarding school in the uk, and would travel out 3 times a year. This brings back great memories, to all the place we travelled in Egypt :) I have subscribed, and will follow your journey in Egypt. Thanks again for a great vlog. Best regards David
Welcome to Egypt, the country of safety and security.

That was so nice, when the boy said, " welcome to Egypt."
Note to self: Never stay in a hotel near Cairo railway station. What a racket! I love rail travel, and nothing beats an overnight sleeper. Great video.
Sensible!

Thank you for your videos about Egypt.
Really surprised at how many are not wearing masks. Happy to see you are.
I am going to egypt next month and i have seen previous videos that they are not wearing masks
@@elyc.1554 Don't worry the numbers in egypt is too low and actually there is sientists are making a reasersh about this string situation in egypt and the government have no hand on this my city in egypt no one wear a mask from the beginning and we didn't hear about any case
@@seifelgharbawy2039 i am really amazed that people are not wearing mask and no social distancing.shukran!
@@elyc.1554 I wish you a happy visit and I want to advise you advice that he did not say in this video. If you are coming to egypt in tourist trip , then beware of the street vendors in the tourist areas. They exaggerate the prices and are very persistent. Therefore, refuse strongly if you know things are not worth their value and do not take anything from them before you agree on a price that satisfies you .
@@seifelgharbawy2039 shukran for the reminders!i am getting married in Alexandria.
Love your videos. Keep them coming.

Excellent vedio
I pray to Allah to keep you free from this time's corona virus. From Bangladesh
WELCOME TO EGYPT MY FRIEND
The kids saying hello are so cute
just to let you know - I've been able to watch 2 of your vlogs this week as I haven't been bombed by UA-cam ads - they were bombing every 4 minutes or so making it impossible to watch them. These two had a double ad at the beginning and one only during the video. HOORAH!
HI FROM ALGERIA WE FOLLOW YOUR VIDEOS ALL TIME
Jason - very interesting video on the night train. I was surprised how quiet the inside cabin was. It really kept out the train station noise. I must say I am disappointed that you did not take any video of The Grand Egyptian Museum when you were at Giza. Most of the exterior is completed. When the GEM opens, it will become the largest museum in the entire world. On a positive note, I look forward to seeing you images of Luxor and Aswan.
Nice train video💛
Luxor was a crazy night! we hit the curfew and couldnt get out of Luxor, escorted by police to Luxor centre, our driver got fined, we told by tourist police only way out is to catch a coach out of luxor, Police approched us in the coach at a checkpoint but left us alone (they all connect knew we were british citizen) met our mini van driver outside of luxor before driving back to Hugarda, was one crazy night, cant forget, would love to go back!
Curfew? Was this in 2013?

I enjoyed your vlog, and I wish to go on a similar trip to Luxor and Aswan, although I'm Egyptian and my grandfather was from Aswan. Yet, I never paid a visit to them.
this video has just blowed my mind!
Glad to hear it, haha..
Flying out to Egypt tomorrow and taking that Sleeper train next week. I am super excited to go. I will be in Egypt for a month. Starting in South Sinai - Red Sea diving and mountain climbing - then heading to do what you have done. Still watching all your Egypt videos. 😉
Have fun!
@@JasonBillamTravel we ended up flying down instead. There was 5 of us traveling which meant 3 seperate rooms. When divided equally by 5, airfare was around the same🤷🏻♀️

The sleeper train might cost a bit but it is the best travel option for that journey. I liked the place where you stayed in Luxor!
