Hey there, nice review! I can't seem to find this question answered anywhere.. If I use the app to program the lights with a blue/red strobe effect in Bluetooth mode, and then I shut off power to the light, will that strobe effect remain and display when power to the lights is restored.. even if the app has not re-paired? Thank you so much.
How did you get the sound activated tab to function? I have 4x q6bt’s + 1 colorstrip and none of the fixtures seem to pick up sound, however I see a mic/ receiver port in the colorstrip.
Just got my Chauvet BT lights. So cool. I installed the app and was playing around with it, even saved a program . . . But when I tap and hold on the program icon, it will not give me the option to rename/delete. Any suggestions?
I just picked up one of these SlimPARs to see how easy they are to use w/ app. I notice the same thing (a year later). Still no option to overwrite or delete a saved program. Seems like it would be simple enough to drag/drop unwanted programs in "trash". Did you find a way to do this?
good question. It would really depend on your placement and size of room. It seems pretty stable in most applications but once you start getting bodies and cell phones in the room it could really change things. If all the lights were close to you say around the dance floor I don't think you would have any problems.
Hello! So what is the distance on the BT series lights? I have the Freedom Tri 6 with the Flarecon Air. Very far distance. Wondering how the Bluetooth distance would be.
Bluetooth is not near as stable as the flarecon air which runs on 2.4. I would not try and use these lights in extremely large rooms with a lot of people in them. If the fixtures are close to you then you would probably be okay.
I have just two Chauvet T-3 Bars. Do you know if I can make a program that has the left on red and the right one blue? In other words, can you assign a different fixed color to each group but assign the whole thing to one program called Red/Blue?
I have a problem with pairing my lights with this app using my LG G 8 Phone! I've uninstalled the app reinstalled it several times and same issue! Any suggestions to solve this problem?
the fixed color is a pain, you have to mix a new color each time, it doesn't allow you to store say 10 of your favorite colors for recall. Major omission to me.
Does answering a phone call affect the programs when using a cellphone? Do you recommend the use a separate Bluetooth device like a tablet to avoid such scenario?

Thx for the vid. Can you think of a workaround to get a really slow fade time between colors? Like 45-60 seconds?

Hmm. can you over ride the program instead of deleting it?

Same issue. Makes the ability to pre-program songs virtually impossible if you can't edit/delete saved programs.
@@djjermusic nope. I tried creating a new one with the same name thinking it would overwrite what was there and it does not. So frustrating.

Hey, great review. Do you think this Bluetooth technology is stable enough and have enough range to set a room of 8-12 uplights?

Ok thanks! It would be hard maybe to make them change colors manually in a large hall unless your next to the light.

Set them up as two different groups and you should be good to go.
how do you like the "amber" color on your T3 bar?

Try a different phone or tablet. My Motoz phone had terrible Bluetooth and I had that same issue. Give that a shot and see if that helps.

yeah, I know it gets a little tricky sometimes.
Agree!! I wish Chauvet would ask for input from actual users, and update the app.

Great question, I would recommend using a tablet or something that will not get interrupted.
djjermusic Thanks Jeremy, never got to meet you in person at MobileBeat but a big fan of your lighting designs and wedding talk with Dave Ternier.
