You’ve been pretty spot on with your analysis of this stuff. I ended up buying battle styles when it was below 100$, when you were like you can’t go wrong for a booster box under 100$.
I think it’ll start climbing again, as new sets come out for this era, people love those alt art chases.

I skipped temporal for opening. Stashed my usual cases but I really enjoyed opening Twilight. I also think Obsidian will do a lot better than the standard weak set everyone says now. Fusion and chilling were stamped weak sets when they were $80 a box for a long time and Obsidian already over $100 even passed Paldea for a little while. Younger generation loves opening it and I think if it was switched with Twilight release date it would be a totally different story. Everyone knew 151 was coming so that hurt obsidian in the short term but it’s still a beautiful set.

Twilight Masquerade is a massive sleeper for sure. Reduced pull rates, Greninja, Eevee(IR), Bloodmoon, Carmine, Perrin.....How is this a weak set?

found an old $300 magic card in my closet at mod played condition was able to go into a store and a guy had a greninja and only wanted $110 for it legit got it with closet stocks and got a bunch of sealed stuff
