It has to be tough doing this for so many years. I'm always reminded of the beginning of Galaxy Quest where they're all just miserable. How many times have they told the same stories and been asked the same questions and had to listen to the others tell their stories for the thousandth time? It must be exhausting. God love 'em for keeping the fans happy. They seem like a genuinely great group of people. :-)
There was mention of the episode, THE MOST TOYS, at the 40:13 minute mark. Sadly, there is more to the story than Brent Spiner let on. The original actor contracted to play 'Kivas Fajo' was the British actor, David Rappaport. You might remember him from the movie, Time Bandits, as the leader of that little bunch of men who stole a time machine. Yes, Rappaport suffered from dwarfism. He also struggled with depression later on in his career, and in this case ---- during the filming of some of the early scenes of THE MOST TOYS, Rappaport attempted suicide. Because of that, he was replaced by Saul Rubinek, who completed the episode. Three days before the episode aired, Rappaport took his life by gunshot to the chest in Laurel Canyon Park in San Fernando Valley, California, on May 2, 1990. So sad. So very sad.
Wow....this is such great quality! Much better than what I could get, and I did manage to get it all anyway. They could have made and sold a DVD, but we are glad that they put it here for us to enjoy! ^^X^^
This was such an absolute delight to watch as a fan or TNG and DS9. Great to see the different personalities interact with each other and the fans in such an honest way!
Brent Spiner and LeVar Burton are real, honest stars...the rest (Wheaton, Sirtis, Dorn) need to learn a little more levity and humility but overall a good Q&A--Thank you Phoenix ComiCon!
Seabee and Star Trek fan here. I'm Reserves now, but I used to be active duty USAF. Thank you so much for your service, and yes, it filled me with pride when Michael Dorn said that, too!
People like to gripe about Marina being so outspoken and raucous, but it's the real her. Imagine what an actor you'd have to be to squeeze that personality down into the restrained, serious and sensitive Counselor Troi.
ok, I have to ask this. Did anyone ever notice, in the episode where Spoc came back as an ambassador, there is a scene where where Picard is being questioned by the Romumlan officer, and there is a crystal on a table that reflects the producer/director smoking a cigarette as the scene is being filmed. I swear sometimes I think I am the only one that saw it, and only because I just happened to pause it at that moment.
Micheal Dorn featured in 3 Star trek Generations. He was in Star trek Tng, Star trek DS9 and Star Trek 6. He played Worf's father who was Kirk and Mccoys defense attourney. Jonathon Frakers Featured in Star Trek TNG, Star Trek DS9, Star Trek Voyager and Star Trek Enterprise.

Michael Dorn played such a stone faced strong and at times bone-headed big loving hearted Klingon, but he has such a sweet smile. And his voice is really a higher pitch. I love what LeVar said about the audition tapes of CHiPS 😆.
Love that shout out to the 'reading books' world. I remember first being introduced to Levar Burton in Reading Rainbow and I liked it then and as an adult, I like it now. Excellent production values and really, genuinely educational. The whole 'book review' concept in a nutshell created really good patterns for analytic thinking. A great process to be going through at age 8.
He had to speak deeply as Worf, and it almost ruin his larynx. Remember, ST the 2nd movie? Leonard Nimoy went to a school's bleachers to yell and yell and yell, to tear up his vocal chords for the dying scene, with Shatner, who was on the other side of the glass.
Interesting story from Michael Dorn about not liking/getting along with LeVar and Marina, until series 2. Perhaps, that was a problem with The Original series actors - only doing 3 years?
thats just well placed sarcasm....and groupdynamics. She isn't actually mean, she just has a very sarcastic and dark humor...and i love it! And anyone of the cast understands her and plays on well

@@jamesaleman ... Nah, it's fine. I did forget I commented here, it's been 4 months.
