I’ve been going to Playa for about 25 years. When you commented it was cheap, 30 pesos came to mind. Without the preface, I would have guessed 50-60. I haven’t been there since 2019 so I’m going off my past experiences. When I saw the $35 sign I was surprised that it is still that inexpensive.
To put this in perspective, 35 pesos would have been a good price 15 years ago yet at a worse rate ($3 USD). So it is actually cheaper today than 15 years ago.

Thanks for that awesome insight there Patrick!! That really does put things into perspective. I remember those awful exchange rates of 10:1 but I was in northern Baja. So it was indeed more expensive when I was in my late teens!

Whew! Yea SF is so high, like my home town of Portland. But no! With the current exchange rate it’s under $2! If you make it down please try those quesadillas, Jorge would be grateful 😎❤️🇲🇽
By any chance did you hear anything on the news or on FB about a motorcycle crash (likely fatal) that happened 1 month ago on Avenida 30 by Nativo & 7 11 around 1am-2am? After the combis stopped running. I'm curious
No, but unfortunately there are plenty of motorcycle and scooter accidents here. A Canadian acquaintance of mine got annihilated by a bus in Nayarit while riding his Harley back home. Barely anything left to bury.
@@theropemonster Reason I ask is that it happened right in front of me. I saw the whole thing & the guy wasn't moving when he hit the ground. I was wondering what happened to him.
