- Crash Team Rumble is still quite the enigma, but through some interesting (and albeit a little dose of crazy) I think I potentially found a new playable character in the Crash Bandicoot Universe. Let's talk about it!

Even if it doesn't turn out to be true, this was a really fun episode to watch. It genuinely made me laugh numerous times.
Honestly, I just want that vulture to be in the game regardless of what he represents. I love his design a lot.
I really hope we get new crash characters that can be bosses in future crash games
You think it should be a first boss or more of a potential big baddy like Uka Uka, N. Tropy or N. Cortex? Or a henchman? Because I’d rather a new henchman or two. Not a lot of heroes. I like the villain count being much higher. But maybe some new heroes that aren’t just bandicoots could be cool…
I'm actually leaning towards seeing Yaya Panda showing up in the arena brawler personally at some point, she needs more love dang it.
@@bobafett4265 yes new characters in new games hopefully in CTR Nitro Fueled sequel. Long shot would be nice to create a character in future crash games.
I actually think it would be pretty cool to see Tony Hawk in Crash Team Rumble. Especially since Crash could use both old and new characters.

I got a little under a minute past the Tony Hawk in Crash Bandicoot image and yelled, “OH MY GOSH, BIRD MAN!” 🤣
This is oddly timed considering I was reading up on Tony Hawk and Birdhouse earlier today after watching some Jackass stuff.
when you started in tony hawk, i got a little scared i’m not gonna lie, but after seeing the bird man (literally, the bird-man), i kinda dig it!
It's possible the idea of a Birdman character with some Skateboarding Influences will show up, if again he's based on the Birdman himself Tony Hawk he could get a redesign of sorts from the concept stages for his design, maybe resemble an actual Hawk and heck just for the sake of it have him voiced by Tony Hawk, so a literal Hawkman that Skateboards and is based on Tony Hawk and is potentially voiced by Tony Hawk would be pretty wild, also it wouldn't be the first time Crash Bandicoot had a full blown reference to other franchises that Activision owns, they made a Guitar Hero Reference for N Gin's boss fight in Crash 4 so anything is possible and yeah CGE could be on to something here, as always great job CGE and crew, also Mel did a great job on the art there, love it.
I saw the leak concept art of the game on Reddit. And I'm not sure if every single one of these characters will make it into the game, but, if so, we will get a bunch of new characters. And this is very questionable because the Crash series already has so many characters. Why did they even bother to reintroduce Original Tawna, Crunch, Nina, Chick & Stew, and many others for a new potential audience, just to drop them again?
I mean just because they throw in new characters it doesn't mean old characters will be excluded. Especially if the game will be updated over time.

They will update the game, but will probably focus mostly on new characters.

If this actually happens, idk what would be crazier, the fact that you figured this out, or the fact that they subtly planned this from the beginning
If Tony Hawk's in the game, make him stylized so he can fit in with the rest of the game. Have him be on the same plane as Female N.Tropy or N. Tropy or Papu Papu. Multiversus did make the humans stylized so that they fit in with the antrhomorphic animals.
True that was the first thing I thought of as well, either way the idea of getting a Tony Hawk ish character either as man or Hawkman in CT Rumble would be a welcomed addition to the roster with his Skateboarding and Punk influences.

Fun fact: Out of curiosity, I just now looked up Crash Bandicoot and Tony Hawk together on Google and one of the first results was a video about a Tony Hawk game having Crash Bandicoot shirts. So if this conspiracy is true, then we gone full circle. Somewhat seeing that the bird is supposed to be a stand-in for Tony himself or something?
I love the new render that artist gave to the skateboarder Vulture, i can imagine it challenging Spyro to a race.

What interests me about that concept art though is that the one confirmed new character, CatBat, is nowhere to be found on it.

I'd love to see more characters as well, and that emo vulture and cat-bat look really cool as well, at least style-wise.

Do you remember the Totally Tubular Skin from Coco in Crash Bandicoot 4?
I think that Coco's skin also kinda fit's pretty well with Skateboarding.
Also, don't forget that Spyro himself was advertised with a Skateboard in Spyro 3 (on the PS1 cover, at least on the European version) and even had a whole level with Skateboarding.

There will be a lot of newer Crash Bandicoot characters as they did in the teaser from the picture behind Crash Bandicoot as a bunch of characters appeared in the background.
This was a cool idea! I wouldn't mind "Bird Man," but I definitely want to see Rilla Roo come back
We hoping Crash Team Rumble to be having more characters then ever like from Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled characters, and other Crash games are from to be in the Rumble, and with new characters, and even guest characters like Tony Hawk as you mentioned, Spyro and other Activision Blizzard characters can all be involved in Crash Team Rumble

Hey, so that package with the mallot which was for Crash's 25th anniversary, it had a card that said, "and even met some friends who were way out of his league." Maybe that could be referring to something with characters? Idk

When you think about it, the other two wampa just serves to connect the three pictures even more, we have two fruit with a white ribbon and a tag, as if hinting at 2 guests from different things, it maybe confusing but theres no way this is just a simple coincidence
Fascinating video. With the ability to add in completely new characters I wonder if this is meant to springboard us into the future of Crash Bandicoot (and with him, Spyro)
This might be your first theory that I have to disagree with. This is all based on the buttons on the snowman in the Tony Hawk post, but honestly it's really common to pair red and blue together in artwork. Once you think of that, everything after it kinda feels like just a coincidence. It would be really cool though, so if you're right I wouldn't complain at all!

@@CanadianGuyEh Although it does make me nostalgic of the times when people were saying things like "In Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, Eterna City's theme has the same background rhythm as Eterna City in Pokemon Colosseum, so they're clearly teasing Gen 3 remakes!!" These kinds of theories are just really fun, even if you don't take them seriously.
I'l be honest I thought you were off your rocker at first, but by the end of the video, I can at least see this theory as plausible.

This is really interesting CGE. My guess is that Toys for Bob has reached out to Tony Hawk to help them create a new base on Tony Hawk. It would be interesting to see how this new character works in Crash Team Rumble if this turn out to be true. Great episode of CGE Hints and Speculations.
I wouldn't mind new characters, but I honestly want characters from classic/past games to return to Rumble, Like Tiny, Ripper Roo, Polar, Pura & etc first before adding newcomers tbh.
It should be a Hawk, so the character could be name as "Tony" and it's a Hawk :v i mean, COMMON!

The whole skate boarding bird shtick reminds me of Jet the Hawk from Sonic Riders.

That certainly would've been interesting if Tony Hawk showed up as a bird that is a scavenger in CTRumble. Toys For Bob do need to create new characters anyways and its definitely nothing to be ashamed of to reference something in your own games
