He’s such a loving cat bless him! He has to be right by our side, he literally followed us round the whole time 😂 he used to be really bad with the tree, but since I’ve used a hard (wooden or metal) tree skirt, it’s seemed to stop him! He used to climb up it by getting into it from underneath, but he doesn’t now!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 also twisting the baubles round helps him flicking them off the bottom 😂😂 he does like to tap them lol ❤️❤️ xxx

I had a new tree this year. 7ft prelit, I’m not so keen on it. I don’t know if it’s because it’s new but I spent a week fluffing it and I still have holes, thank goodness for large flowers 😂 I’m hoping next year it will be better or it’s a massive expensive mistake! It has two different leave on it, the traditional bendy ones and rigid plastic stems. It does look more real though. My hubby won’t let me buy light up houses or Gbread stuff because he’s says I won’t take them down after Xmas! I don’t like things on the top of shelves either 😂 I remember sorting m&m out for all the red ones to match my red decor😊🤍🎄 EDIT: that’s what I was trying to say about my tree. You said it so much better😂 Where did you get the stools from that you have your tea, coffee, sugar on? Kitchen shelf looks better now, it’s like a Gbread village 😊
Hey! Oh no! That’s a shame about your tree! A little tip I’ve seen if you have gaps- add some cheap plain green garland (tuck it right in so it’s not noticeable but covers the poles), and it will fill the gaps! Flowers are good too! lol Those trees are so good aren’t they! They make it look really realistic! Yay glad you agree with not putting things on the top shelf and that I’m not the only one colour coding my sweets 🫣😂 the wooden stands were both from HomeSense! Not sure if your local HomeSense has an upstairs, but they were upstairs by the kitchen stuff- I’ve got a feeling one of them was with the plant pot stands! That’s the only thing with having all the cosy stuff at Xmas, it feels really bare when you take it all down 😢😂 xxx ❤️❤️

They are the shade “Timeless” by Dulux. It’s an off white colour. The coving and skirting is a pure white, so gives a bit of contrast :) quite a safe colour- not too clinical but still light ☺️
