They really are though . Just look at everyone’s discography and Scorpions tops. Only the Jimi Hendrix experience above then IMHO. Their 70s set lists were amazing with Uli and Michael . They were able to keep up all they did in the 80s and 90s then last 2 decades still making music and one album on the way
All the time I saw the Scorps through the 80's and 90's, they never played this song. Awesome to see and hear it live. One of their best songs. So gritty and raw.
I had Animal Magnetism on cassette and played this song over and over in my pick up truck when I was just 16. It was then and is now one of my fav's from the Scorps!
after seeing this song in The Wrestler it reminded me how cool the scorpions was even before Love At First Sting CD. I heard this song in 1981 and this song still holds up as one of there best I have since went out got the cd of Animal Magnetism and Blackout . Awsome CDS for the new generation listening to them for the first time THE SCORPIONS NEVER FAIL TO PUT ON A GOOD SHOW
This Halloween I saw some wild belly dancer dressed head to toe in long flowing robes do a very slow fluid dance to this, silhouetted by the back light of the full moon and darkness of night. It was intense. I had never heard this song before. I felt like I was almost watching something evil...
This is my favorite song. A friend found an 8 track of it somewhere. It was before anyone really had heard of them here in the US..pre break out. They put on a hell of a concert in 82. There was a language bearing when speaking, but the audience was there for them.🤘
Man i remember when i seen them in 1980 at the Seattle Center Colisium. They opened for Ted Nugent. They were promoting what i call their best album by far Animal Magnetism. They just blew the door off Ted. I was right up front when they played this song. Klause was swinging the mik in a big circle getting longer everytime he made a loop it was a great time.
ha! i was telling my wife about that same move klaus did with the mic....i actually came here looking for footage to show her! when i saw him do it, it must have gone 50' out over the audience, then he snapped the cable and that mic shot straight into his hand...... ten years later, i hope you see this and are in good health!
was there at that show never even knew who the Scorps. Were . Was absolutely blow away seen them a couple years ago in Spokane , WA they still rock hard and sound great today .
I've seen the Scorpions six times I seen Ted Nugent 4 x scorpions are a great group but there's not a one chance in hell that they blew Ted off the stage get a grip
Lucky you! I saw him.... uh, I mean them (sorry, I'm a bit rabid over Klaus) in '82 at an Oakland, CA Day on the Green show. They didn't do this song, but it's just as well... I'd have attacked SOMEone on that stage RIGHT quick. .............*ahem*
This is one of those songs that has to be heard live in order to appreciate how good it is. It can literally put a crowd into a trance and I've seen it happen. Lol
Unfortunately, I heard that the Scorps are recording there final album. and are going to perform their final concert tour across the US and the rest of world. It's amazing for me because I saw the Scorpions on their first US tour in 1979 supporting the Animal Magnetism recording. they were opening for Ted Nugent. who I walked out on in his tarzan outfit. I met the band as they boarded the bus and followed them in my car blasting their music to the hotel welcome to america "SCORPS".
Well done one the sound a video quality. It is way better than the same song from another person who posted it up with 3 times as many views? This song was a hit for me the first time I heard it and wanted to play it on lead guitar. Thanks for the post ;)
@@timjeichoi4477 animal magnetism is one of Jerry Cantrell's favourite albums. This songs dirgey vocals and droney, hypnotic mood definitely rubbed off on him.
One of the their most haunting songs. This keeps you on the edge from beginning to end. They are truly the best band in the world, MY Beatles.

@@iago1616 yeah they are saw them 2 yrs ago and before that 👍🏼

Awesome to see and hear it live.
One of their best songs. So gritty and raw.
They played the song in the early eighties at Madison Square Garden when they opened up for rainbow
Grossly underrated
Sublime canción
I'm thinking they don't play it live or else they'd have ALL the women in the audience on stage in 2.2 seconds flat. I mean, JESUS!
I feel you! This is a masterpiece. The foo fighters haven't played "X static" live. Not a huge fan of them but that song rocks
The laugh at the end is the best!... no, I take it back, the entire song is the best!!!
I had Animal Magnetism on cassette and played this song over and over in my pick up truck when I was just 16. It was then and is now one of my fav's from the Scorps!

Dirty. EXACTLY. I'm thinking a lot of people don't mean the same thing I do when I say that. But your chuckle gave it away... you DO know. ;)
My all time favorite Scorpion song...
Sir Meine one of the best in the business. Bar none

I saw this in the infamous Cow Palace California. What a great show. Unbelievable. We had only had the record for like a week.

Very spooky live Version. Wish they could have done it in THAT manner on the "Animal Magnetism" album. That would be METAL!!!!!!!!!!
They rarely ever play this song so awesome to find this live I saw this tour and they didn't do it because Klaus blew his voice out in Maryland

The darkest song they ever made.

Without this song alice in chains would probably sound a lot different if even exist
Is this have a connection to alice in chains?
How?

I have seen them 6 times and they never played this song
I also love the cover version by Memento Mori
Apotheosis Scorpions
Great stripper song!
Hmmmm...yeah Clause is in his 60's and I think Rudolph must be right about there too. Everything must come to an end
Ahh... today Klaus and Rudolf are both 75. SEVENTY FIVE!!! My god, I feel so ancient.
Doom metal
Anyone like the Testament cover ofthis?
The in your face version? It's better than the oldschool studio version of the Scorpions album.
