For the past couple months I have been selling guys I didn’t need for 2025 1sts and now I have 6 2025 1st round picks. Still contending this year and planning to buy high tier players with some of them when the value goes up. Liquid Gold.
I don’t understand how this is remotely possible to contend now and still have 5 2025 firsts. Did you have 12 top 50 assets?
@@flip-antonio8425low IQ league
@@flip-antonio8425I started getting them before playoffs. Like for one of my trades was M. Brown for a 2025 first. The league I am in is a 1 QB start 8. My core assets are Love, got Chase for the 1.05 1.10 and Tank (Paid a lot but worth in my opinion), got Puka at the beginning of the year for now the 1.04 trades the 1.08 for Drake London, Mcbride, and Spears. I’m banking on Spears to do well and hoping to get a decent Rookie like Lloyd or Irving. I also traded for D. Douglas, Wicks, A. Gibson with the upside they have. Taking a Gamble on Rookies this year to fill some holes in my team but it’s totally worth it for what I could get with the 6 1st I have when the price for them is at there peak.
love the vid, but could 2024 picks be an outlier in value for draft picks simply because we’ve never had prospects like Caleb Williams, Drake May and MHJ before? not saying 2025 picks won’t grow in value, but i don’t think they’ll reach a peak of 7000 like 2024 picks are
Could be true but that’s not the point of the video. If you need to rebuild or just want a chance at a 2025 first they’re saying to try to get them now
Doubt it's an outlier. Not too long ago, we were talking about the "greatest QB class of all time" in 2021 with TLaw, Wilson, Fields, and Lance leading the charge, along with insane WR studs in Chase, Waddle, and DSmith. It's an annual cycle of hype and an eventual reality check. Always talent! The talent just doesn't always hit... Hope this helps!
What works well for me is to trade away my number one and number two pick, every other season for one of my league mates number one and number two in the other season meaning each of us winds up with one season having two number ones and two number twos and one season with no number one or number two picks. You don't need draft picks every season if you know WTF your doing in the first place, Last season was my season with no number one or number two picks which meant that any addition to my roster from the draft would come no sooner than round three where I drafted Puka. So love your guys advice here with respect to trading into your dynasty future for picks (2025 picks for example) but I do think there are variations on that theme. I like my approach so far. .
"Do it" - Emperor Palatine
Had 5 1sts this year
4 25 1sts
2 26s 1sts so far
Just keep building out
I sold the 1.08 1.09 j Reed j Addison
For
ASB
GARRET W
26 1ST
I was 2nd highest scoring team in 23. Still have the 1.02 1.05 1.07
I dealt 1.10 and 1.11 for 2025 1sts
Even if your thing is late just kick the can down the road
Maybe add a 4th to 1.11 and get a 25 1st
MIZ! Love the thumbnail!
our league is going SF in 27 so late firsts where you can grab QB's are worth more than like 2025 or 2026 early firsts.
Winning money is cool 🤣🤣 Made my day.
My 12 team, 1QB league i have a trade of projected 2 top half 25 1sts and the 2.02 for my 1.03 (Odunze). The picks teams finished last and 3rd last this year and dont have great rosters. I want to wait and see where Odunze goes first. I would love the Chargers lol
Guys can you open a suggestion box for videos like e.g.....lineup strategy say ive a wr who isnt in my starting team but hes the wr2 of the opponents qb im playing is it wise to play him in the flex to offset the oppents qb production etc thats just 1 example but ya get me .... some higher level game theory like whats the max amount of leverage i should use when selling a guy his 1st back to rebuild % wise above market value stuff like that would be really really cool
Loving the poss 25 rb class
Evan Stewart will have a much better season transferring to a better team in Oregon from Texas A&M.
Love seeing LB3 on the thumbnail
I have a trade sent for Rashee Rice for my 2025 1st and Antonio Gibson... Buddy's got RB troubles
Agreed! Dealing with future picks I always think of them as a late round pick.
I actually had this conversation when someone showed me a trade making their future pick mid round value
In a 12 man superflex, ppr,non te premium i have the 1.11, cmc, bijan, Pacheco. I'm thinking of trying to trade cmc and the 2.11 for the 1.07 and achane.
It’s a pretty even offer but if you’re competing I don’t know if you need to make that deal unless you need Odunze or Bowers
"doofus video of the day" sure made my day 🤣🤣
It’s just tough because the draft order for my league depends so much on playoff results so impossible to tell exactly what range a pick will be in for a 2025 pick
That's... Almost every league in existence lol. What league settings for the draft do you have that would make it difficult to discern what range they fall in? Like, most leagues you can tell at least if a pick is bottom half or top half at worst, and usually you can narrow it down to a 3-4 pick range
@@jonahlapp9510 well the bottom half are playoff teams. Top half non playoff and it all depends how the playoff and conciliation bracket go. So a bubble team could literally get any pick based on the last 4 weeks. It’s a bad system. So getting people to fairly estimate their pick’s value unless they’re a powerhouse is tough. Then it’s still a gamble
Already have three 1st rounders in 2025 and three 1st rounders in 2026 and two 1st rounders in 2027
What should I trade if I’m looking to buy a 25 first?
Really any asset that will decrease in value from now until August. This can be aging contending pieces, overvalued players, etc. Start there.
Question: does it ever fail?
2025 is the year for the rookie rbs
which side would u take: 1.03 and tucker kraft or 2025 mid first and devonta smith? (half ppr te prem)
Smith and 1st
the only issue w this is KTC has picks slightly inflated so if you are selling all your players for picks you are gonna be selling your players at a discount.
That's why you don't use KTC as the end-all, be-all. It's a tool to help with a starting point. If you think it's an underpay, aim higher! The point stands, rookie picks increase in value like crazy.
Trade question: 12 SF, TE prem start 11. I'd be trading DK, kyler Murray, and hockenson for JSN, Hurts and 2024 2.12. I already have Herbert and LaPorta. Other team has Dak and cade otten as his best TE. Worth the risk?
Downgrade at QB, WR and trading Hock for a 2.12 basically 🤨
@@RCYT971 Wait, are you saying in your opinion Murray is a better fantasy player/asset then jalen hurts?
I’d probably hold Hock is at his lowest value right now you’ll be able to get more for him when he’s healthy I like Hurts over Murray but with Kelce retired and their oline getting older I don’t think you need to make that deal and as for JSN and DK I’m not a big Geno fan so I feel like that’s just tomato tomatoes or whatever
Murray
I’ve got 3 firsts and I’m targeting Luther heavy #MIZ
Should I trade my 25 1st rounder w/ Pacheco for Breece Hall ?
Thoughts anyone , all I need to hear is one person to tell me yes and jumping on Breece 😁
That’s a no brainer if you’re getting breece at that price
Yes
If I’m rebuilding should I be trading away Kyren Williams and if so what should I be looking for in a trade with him
I would absolutely try to trade him. I personally think his value has peaked.
No rush to trade Kyren. Worst case, you sell him mid-season for a lot. People are too low on Kyren as a collective community after he averaged 22 PPG. I get his future after two to three years is in question, but what RB is guaranteed after that time anyways? Not even Gibbs and Bijan are.
Never keep rbs on a rebuilding team. But I'd only sell if you get something good and you don't have to sell right away. People get desperate closer to the start of the season
Trade Jerry Jeudy, 1.9 and 2025 mid 2nd for 2025 Top 3 pick 3.1 and Hyatt. In a 1QB 16 man
Yes
who should I trade Aj Brown or waddle. Also what should I trade kelce
AJB. Would not trade Kelce
@thedynastydomain what if he retire next year. I would lose out on his value. I could get two first next year for him
@thedynastydomain why not kelce what if I can get two 2025 first for him. I also have Pitt te and cards te. if kelce was to retire then Gray would be up next and I have him also
Whatever happened to Simon?
Studying at Purdue
You guys should make a devy video for people who have devy leagues
Rebuilding Squad: traded Puka for Zay Flowers and two 2025 seconds. One should be an early second (2.01-2.03) and the other will likely be a late 2nd (2.07-2.12).
