Sam is the most adorable Photographer. Hit the 👍🏻 if you agree.
I humbly agree hahahahhaha 👏🏻
From a Tennessee native who struggled growing up to see its beauty, you did a wonderful job showing it to anyone who hasn’t been here
Crazy to see my home town in your pictures! Glad you go to see Tennessee! :)
Always enjoy your videos.
this video made my photographer heart calmer thank you! I loved sam
Great video Sam, I really enjoyed that. I agree with you regarding therapy. I figure that no matter how expensive film is, it's cheaper than seeing a psychologist. Glad I'm not the only one who enjoys wandering aimlessly with an old film camera to find some peace and calm. Photography is my happy place too. Looking forward to the next video.
For people who has serious mental illness definitely need to seek professional help!! But for my day to day struggles, seek cameras’s help~
Thanks for saying you take photos for yourself. It is such good therapy.
Wonderful!
I love your excitement over the little things. I’ve always enjoyed “getting lost” in small towns I have never been to before and just photographing whatever I see.
Isn’t that wonderful, like running away from reality for a bit ☺️
yes sam big up lad
I'm convinced that I need a Pentax medium format in my life
You won't regret!!
Finally some decent tripod representation 😋 Great vid!
Right?!!! Still need a tripod sponsorship just saying 🤓😂
Perfect vidéo, destressfull and therapeutic. The asthmosphere is calm relaxing with no humans at all in Nashville area it is like Elvis is gone with All the inhabitants…the music is also perfectly chosen. Sometime I carry my heavy Hassy and I take photos with my iPhone. What is important for a good photo is to be at the right place at the right 1/125 of a second more or less. Love your voice too. Happy new year
awesome!!You are my guide.i decide to buy Pentax 645 in the future!!🥰
Nice!! Welcome to the Pentax family 🥳
Enjoy your videos more and more everytime i see them. Great work and thank you! ☺
Thank you for watching :)
Great video and pictures! I love seeing your joy at seeing pretty clouds 😊
Thank you ☺️
My Pentax 645 has been my therapist for a while now.
Cheers!! For our wonderful therapist!! 🥳
Nice one. Even though I live in L.A. now, I grew up in North Carolina, so the scenes of nothingness, nobody around anywhere, just green and houses far apart brought back some memories...hah I love living in the city now, but I do miss that sometimes.
I don’t think I can live there all year long but I’d love to go to a place like that once a while to escape the city life 😎
So looking forward to your videos all the time. How the greenery is rendered at 6:38 and near the barns at Cascade Hollow is so mesmerizing.
I wanted to walk up closer to the barns, but now looking back I think the wide shot works better ☺️
I live an hour from where you were in TN!
Nice trip! Looks like fun! I like the comittment to bring the BIG camera! You're really inspiring . Great place, so quiet and rainy ....
Really good escape place, I enjoyed this trip a lot. Thank you for watching ☺️
What a beautiful location Sam. And I love the house. My dogs would love the front lawn! I am sure you enjoyed the quietness compared to busy busy Cali! Love your videos, keep them coming!👍
I enjoyed it very much!! I like the weather and quietness!!
The pictures in this video are so cinematic. So beautiful. You captured the loneliness or quietness in the area so beautifully. This is one of my favorite video of yours. Great editing too by the way.
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it :) ☺️
As a resident southerner-- love the Bojangles picture!! LOL
The biscuit is sooo good!!
@@itscapturedbysam im glad you liked it!!!
I picked up a Pentax 645 just today and already blowing through film like crazy! Totally agree with you, shutter therapy is the best therapy. ✌
I know!! right~~~ I’ve now officially shoot more 645 than 35mm!!
Hi Sam, I love your videos so much. I have been learning a lot. Thank you!
Thank you for watching ☺️
Wonderful !
I appreciate this video and I love my 645 too! I just traveled to Utah and although it wasn't the only camera I took on the trip, I did use it exclusively at the main attraction, Zion Canyon. The results are so rewarding.
Ahhh I’ve been wanting to visit Utah, I bet the scenery looks amazing there!!
看Sam的视频就是一种心灵的洗涤,这种感觉真的就是一种享受❤
谢谢!☺️
That picture with the lamp !
Can’t tell what I like about it.. 🤓
You are growing fast (your channel i mean). Love your content, will follow :)
Thank you :)
Amazing as always. Now get it. Put your money in film not in therapists👍🤓😜😂 I follow you🙏🏻
I didn’t mean to talk down on therapy, 😅they are professionals dose professional help… Thank you for watching, glad you enjoyed it~
great images again! what lens are you using?
Enjoyed. Made me look hard at what i need to do. Have 35mm cameras, digital and a medium format 645. Although film in New Zealand is $20.00 to $60.00 plus processing so you tend to be very careful what you shoot on film.
Enjoyed your presentation and comments.
Kaipara, New Zealand.
Nice Video ! I’m also saving up and trying to get a Pentax 67 Camera!! Hope we both can shoot it and be happy with the results ! Have a good one Sam !
High five for the 67!! Hope we all get our dream camera soon!! 🥳
👏👏👏👏👍👍
thank you for your videos; they are like a shelter to me. World is way too fast
Totally, it’s good to slow down once a while ☺️
There’s always the Fuji GFX.
If I could shoot Fuji NPS or NHS or Kodak Portra, I would. 😂
I legit looked into the GFX, too expensive 🥹
pentax645集合!
真的是我现在用的最多的相机~
If I could “walk around” with a giant wet process camera system, I would! I’ll settle for an 8x10. Maybe an RZ.
Practically, I’ll take a Fuji anyway (poor person’s Leica) over my Nikon F bodies. 😂
Oh boi~ Nikon F is crying as your last choice 😂
Went to Tennessee and said nothing. I was only 2 states away lol. Great photos, Did you stop by Ripley aquarium ?
Ahhhhh I didn’t know there is an aquarium!!
@@itscapturedbysam Yeah, a pretty big one there.
It's nice that you can use photography as your therapy, then the rest of us get to enjoy the results of it too :D Do you ever look back at the 'purposeless' photos you've taken, a long time later?
I do look at them later, and I found a lot of the photo I really like after years are the “purposeless” photos.
By small I was expecting to see a compact 35mm 😅
Hi Sam, have you ever thought about creating a personal website to showcase your works of potograph?
I have and I should, I just don’t think I have enough work I can showcase just yet~
how humble you are (来自广东的一个粉丝🐶@@itscapturedbysam
Personally, I can't stand 645 cameras. They're so awkward to shoot in portrait mode. I'm picking up a Mamiya RZ67 this weekend. When I want to shoot 645 format, I'll grab a 645 film back for the RZ.
I do own and absolutely love the Pentax 6x7. It's been my main camera for about a year now. I think you'll be very pleased with the images you get out of it and after a while, you'll get used to the weight. It's really not THAT bad. For real.
I have a Linhof 4x5 too, but I haven't taken it out since the spring. Too big to be lugging around in the hot summer. I'll bring that out again start in October after it cools down again.
I love my 645, I think I like it more than my 6x6. That being said, the RZ 67 is definitely on my list, and I’m super looking forward to trying the 67 format!!
@@itscapturedbysam that’s cool. Hey, if you love the images you get out of your 645 and it fits you… nothing else matters. But, yes, the RZ67 is totally drool worthy! 🤣
Hey, how are you doing? The 645 is a wonderful and easy to use camera. I'm just finished shooting my first roll on it with a 75mm that came with it. A question. Loading film I found to be straightforward.
I realised my exposure counter was showing 17. And I thought, odd. Looking at the manual it's not quite clear to me. But obviously I forgot to stop at 16, I assumed the camera would make a similar sound to when I loaded the film. But it does not. But when I did take out the film it was on the appropriate spool. Wondering if this has happened to anybody else.
I never had that problem myself, did you end up getting 17 shots on the negative?? I have a friend who modified his 645 to take 18 shots, instead of 16. If the film roll is done, the camera will automatically roll it up, I had problem with the camera over rolled 2 frames, I end up only have 13 frames, but never had more~ lol
@itscapturedbysam The manual is a little confusing. I guess my question is, is it 15 exposures on a 120 roll? When the led showed 15 and I took the photo the camera didn't gesture as if the roll was done. Then I took a photo. And on 16 I took another. This was when I was like 'hang on a minute'. So I removed the fim which was done. I'll know better next time!
In Tennessee
Corrected. Thank you 😊
You can feel free to borrow my Pentax 67 for a video! :) I'm in Pasadena
Thank you for offering, that’s very nice of you! I’m saving up to get my own, hopefully sooooon 🥳
Where in Tennessee did you go? I live in Tennessee.
I was in Manchester~
@@itscapturedbysam Neat area, and scenery. Hope you had a great time.
Pentax 67 is like 5kg. Please be careful when wearing it on your neck! Use a cross body strap or something to spread the weight on both your shoulders.
You KIDDING!! It does't feel like 5kg at all LOL~ thanks for your tips!!
Probably closer to 3kg, it’s definitely weight a lot compare to most medium format due to it’s metal boday. I was holding it on my wrist and oh boy it’s really straining. Do take some extra precautions, especially when you plan to wear it all day long.
