- In this video, Elizabeth and I will describe our recent trip to Mexico's luxury all-inclusive resort Hotel Xcaret Arte. We discuss and review our room, spa, restaurants, pools, beach and bars as well as the many sights to see while staying at this Riviera Mayan Resort.
This video will be the first of two videos discussing this trip. In our next video we will highlight our visit to Xcaret Park and Xplor (Fuego) which are both included in your stay at Xcaret Arte.

I stayed at La casa de La playa last year and there was only 11 out of 63 rooms were booked. It was pretty quiet but recently we stayed at Arte VIP and I can confidently say I prefer Arte more because it’s busier and it has lot of great restaurants to dine in our favourite restaurant for lunch and dinner was Arenal and didn’t need a reservation. You’re definitely right about how long you need to stay there to discover the whole resort since it has a lot to offer.

But, as you mentioned, I didn't have enough time to explore the entire resort. Certainly believe I'm taking family and friends on my visit this year, and we will explore more parks and resort 🎉❤😊

My wife and I stayed at xcaret Mexico last year. We loved it so much we are staying in may at xcaret arte this time. Beautiful place! The all inclusive food and drinks amazing!

@@thereel850 we are doing 6 days 5 nights!
We went for 8 days (7nights so really with travel it was 6 full days) and it took the entirety of our stay to get familiar with the property layout. It sure is a wonderful place to get lost, though! I was pregnant so it limited what we could do at the parks, but I’m glad because we got to relax, eat, and explore the resort! I think overbooking activities while here your first time is a mistake. Love xcaret Arte!!

Going there very soon... did you have to make reservations for parks? What time did you leave the hotel to make your flight?
No reservations are required for Xplor or Xcaret Park. The other attractions (tours) that require a drive off the property (to visit Mayan ruins) May require advance notice to secure a ride).
The day before your checkout plan your shuttle time to the airport with concierge - they will recommend the correct time slot which is usually around 4 hours prior to departure and schedule your shuttle.

Sorry man- between the cold, windy weather, poor tides and traveling we just didn’t get a weekend that it all aligned. We’ll come back strong though!
@thereel850 just giving yall a hard time. You are not missing much. I've been out twice this winter in West Bay. Tiny trout is all I've seen. And 40 degrees in the morning is Cold on the water.
We hate the cold weather and getting Elizabeth to go on the boat when it’s below 70 is a major challenge 😂
How much is the spa?
It depends on the amount of time and type of massage you choose. There are lots of options - check it out on their website
(hotel Xcaret.com) look for Muluk Spa. Expect to pay $200 + per person - probably more. Sounds crazy but it’s totally worth it 😎
Are kids allowed to stay in Arte?
Xcaret ARTE is adults only - 16 years and up

I just wanna know where everyone is getting all this money from?
Is there anything bad? Weary of videos where everything is all rainbows and butterflies....
There’s definitely some cons but nothing that would keep us from coming back. Signage is annoying and confusing; not a huge wine selection; resort is pricey - but we felt you get your moneys worth; armed guards at the entrance; probably the most annoying thing is them trying to get you to sign up for their vacation club. Just tell them no thanks and enjoy the stay- we can’t wait to go back! Trust us- it’s worth checking out!

Stay away from the sales presentation.. they supposedly specified 90 minutes. We were there for 5 hours.

If i have to have a life jacket to swim in or outside the lagon i will not be booking i am a free diver
The lagoon is not very deep anyways. There are other places to swim at the resort and at Xcaret Park where life jackets aren't required.
