Great video. I'm watching on my Duo right now. It's not perfect and takes some getting used to. But it's a lot better than reviewers are saying
People is looking at this as a phone 1st which it's not....also there's a learning curve when it comes to gestures...all in all I think it's a cool device...2nd gen on up will smooth out all the bugs and kinks...I'm grabbing on for Christmas cause I'm a tech head and it's a different lil gadget...I'm one who knows and expect bugs on a 1st gen...I brought the 1st Galaxy Note...the 1st Galaxy Edge...and definitely grabbing this unique device... from the moment I picked it up in Bestbuy...I knew it wasn't a phone....it's the beginning of a new category.

Remember you got to swipe from the display and not the bezels to get the best response from the screen... A lot of reviewers made that mistake and said it was buggy but it's not.
Why it's using google search for search engine? Maybe google pay them to do so. They are very pushy on the Bing and using google is weird.

You need to double-tap when the indicator is still on the screen, instead of waiting for the screen to go dark before double-tapping.
Looks promising! But that shutter delay is definitely an issue. Hope your reboot resolved it !!!

This is by far the most accessories ive ever seen come with a modern phone.... even though its just a charger and a bumper. That $1400 really goes a long way lol

I'm a fan of this thing when it first debuted last year but slowly getting disappointed because of all the bugs and issues surfaced on review units. Hopefully Microsoft can get their stuffs together and polish the experience because it looks extremely promising.

If they can smooth out the software side of these dual screen devices I'm onboard. But right now the software running this 1400 dollar device isn't up to snuff.

Maybe with less bezels, better camera and a software that actually works flawlessly. This phone is gonna be good for multitaskers. Also a way to check for notifications without opening the phone would be nice. It’s just a version 1 though so I understand all the shortcomings. Like the fold 2, I hope MS improves it big time for the 2nd gen.
From phone arena about the battery- Li-Po 3577 mAh. That shy under the 4500 of Samsungs foldable.
I bought a new one from Best Buy. Well worth it.

They are small! There needs to be space to place your fingers on it. How else can you grasp it? With every goddamn thing having touchscreens now, just holding a device will unintentionally press hundreds of 'buttons.' I'm sure Apple has fingerless smartphones coming with the Apple iPhone XVII device.

So far it’s taking forever to charge for it new came uncharged 30 minutes later windows icon comes up goes out sone way to charge it for an hour
It finally did charge I love it but being an iPhone user for so long there are things it lacks. Like linking your phone to other devices. It doesn’t really have share my location overall it’s great.
Also a smartphone? T mobile has it ?

used to have a windows phone back in the day, I loved that they created the dark theme and I loved their interface, but they really failed. They don't even have support nowadays in those phones lol

I would recommend that you prepare better before you start shooting your video including getting to know the device first. You seemed to just be fumbling around.

I have a video on my channel where I went to Best Buy and played with the Microsoft Surface Duo on UA-cam full screen... it doesn't look that bad depending on what you're watching but the beauty of this device is watching UA-cam while being on Instagram or checking your email or on a website or playing a game etc etc.

Had to wait to comment until I got my hands on one. This thing is a mess. Apart from the rotten software optimisation and sluggishness, the reason for the fold is to make it portable, and it's not. I tried to put it in my standard jeans pocket, it wouldn't fit comfortably and you can't sit down without it digging into your leg. Even worse, because it's wide and with those sharp corners, you can't get the damn thing out of your pocket either! This will be a bigger flop than Essential phone.
Yuck! The fact that they're using the Google operating system is repugnant. If only a big tech company with a dominating global operating system made this device instead, then they could have used a better OS.
