This has to be better than myQ, I've had nothing but problems with it. And none of the voice controls even work since compatibility with third party apps like Google and Alexa have been completely removed.
I just put one up 12/20/21.. his review is correct. I can not get Google to setup with app. I bought for $59.00 but price jump to $79.00 now.. it is easy to setup.. i did not signup for cloud service due to they want to charge customer. So his review is correct and problems are still the same as of December 2021..
How good/reliable is this when your away from home and on your cellular network trying to open and close the garage door and using the 2way audio...?? The reason I asked I tried the Momentum Niro wifi garage door opener and 60 to 50% of the time it would not connect when I was away from home on my cellular network..thats even when setting the liveview to low quality..FYI: I can connect to other security cams I have fine but not to the Momentum cam when I was on my cellular network in the same area’s and yes my wifi signal at home is 100% to the momentum cam so the issue was with the Momentum server connection..when I am on a wifi connection it would connected everytime.. So please give me your honest opinion..
My garager 2 camera works fine and the garage would open with Alexa for a good 1 month. All of a sudden Alexa says there's a problem indicating there's a problem. Why? I reset everything and even Uninstalled/ re installed the app, nothing.
Great video! This product is okay, but I'll wait for the product to become better before I spend my money on this. I'll keep it to pressing a button for now.
With Wyze and Arlo offering a week or more of free cloud storage I just can't stomach the subscription. And the Chamberlain subscription for IFTTT and Google Assistant is just a joke. I can't stand Chamberlain's business model. I really hope Alcidae can see how the market has changed and offers at least a week of free cloud storage.
Delivery guys can leave packages in the garage. My cleaning lady and pet sitter can access my house when im not home. Also tells me if they didnt show up. Camera lets me know if its an authorized person. They could use the front door but getting thru the front door with 5 dogs is an epic hassle. But youre right its useless.

Google Play doesn't have Alcidae App. So it work for your phone!!!
