@matzrappold4325: As a matter of fact Oscar Peterson considered Hiromi one of his pianistic friends. She opened for the Oscar Peterson Trio during one of its Japan tours, and two tracks by Hiromi are included on the commemorative double CD his widow released a few years after OP's death.

上原ひろみ目当てでこの年の東京ジャズを視聴した記憶。ガリアーノ＆寺井ユニットの曲はopal concertoしか聞けておらずでしたが、こんなにたくさんのすごいセッションをされてたんですね。
ここしばらくコンサートを観て無いけどヒロミさんのこの迫力が又コンサートに取り憑かれそうです。
ジャズの命はアドリブですから、
わずかなリハーサルだけでの、完全即興に近いのでしょう。
