Why do autism regressions happen?

Regression is something that every parent who is healing their child from autism will deal with. It is an unrealistic expectation to think that every step you take will be forward…that seems like a ton of pressure sitting on your shoulders…and that will not help you help your child, so let that pressure go and learn about the silver linings of regressions.
