    Most under rated channel. Thanks for detailed analysis rather than just blurting out the move sheet like most others do.

    Great vide as usual. You are extraordinary in your calm voice and deep explorations. Only thing, in the last recap of 3 mins at the end, can you do that with pieces on the board? So much easier to follow....

    Beautiful game! That e-pawn sacrifice is something to be studied! Thank you Jerry!

    at 7:41 why not take kxa6? Not bad a position? Either way.

      nxa6 dxc4 leaves black down an exchange, if nxb8 cxb3 threatening the queen

    Awesome game and awesome analysis. Qc1 was a great move, and I also found qd4 to be very instructive - that’s a move I would never find.

    I absolutely loved the 60-second summary at the end!
    A quick recap while the game is fresh helped reinforce all those wonderful ideas♟

    Playing +90% accuracy in a 10 minutes game is crazy. Kudos for MVL as well for defending in this masterpiece!

    Great video, love the pace and variation breakdowns you chose to explore.
    Only (hopefully helpful) critique would be using different highlighting colors when delving into multiple variations. since we can’t see your mouse cursor it can be a bit difficult to track new circles/lines popping up at times.

    Beautiful, incredible game. MVL’s play is such high quality to not just totally crumble much earlier than he did, allowing Magnus to give us a conversion masterclass

    Thanks Jerry, as usual for your excellent analysis. I have had to turn off the sound on the CCT Oslo live stream volume given the 😞 awful quality of the live chess commentators except possibly by D Howell.

    Also.. If i had mvl's skills, i would avoid big typically solid openings like this, and find much more tactical stuff to throw at him! This was just another day at the office for carlsen.

  • @gavinjones8543

    Perfect example of how carlsen wins one side of the baord, then switches to the other to win the game.

    I think we can all agree, that as Long as MC Plays chess, the world Championship is a joke, that being ding, nepo, or even the new “champion”
    MC is just on another level imo, may he play for many years!

    • @irfanyamashita7184
      @irfanyamashita7184 Місяць тому

      I hope he will be back to candidates tournament

    • @BobbyFischer1975
      @BobbyFischer1975 Місяць тому

      That is very mistaken. The WC remains the world crown in chess. Obviously MC is the best player in the world but he is NOT the world champion anymore. The world championship is not being devaluated when someone cancels it. It is Carlsen's own decision to forego of another 3-6 potential world titles and it will definitely impact his legacy. Not in the next 30 years. But in 50-100 years also MC will be forgotten and what remains is the no. of titles, and his legacy will not be so impressive (in the recorded played games that he leaves behind it will of course). The WC is never a joke, it is always the most important title in the world, and MC does NOT have that title anymore. You can only become world champion if you actually PLAY it, if you dont you simply are not the world champion. Being the best in the world (as 'world champion') is not only about capabilities, it is also about doership. If you dont have the drive to become WC and are not willing to prepare you cannot be it. Furthermore we never actually know he would have won so easily from anyone in the WC. You still have to prove it. If you don't prove it and don't do it, someone else is the best chess player in the world, not you.

    I enjoy your commentary and selection of games.
    But your board display has fallen behind the times, with needlessly undersized square size.
    Check the more modern style of Dr Mike Chess, Gotham Chess, Agadamator etc to realize how much difference the square size makes.
    Instead strips with labels, the modern channels have more intelligent approach.
    Besides, anyone watching your channel can instantly point b6 square on unlabeled board, just as you can.

    I would lije to see magnus dominate in classical
