I remember when you played the demo and Holy cow has it been polished!! Cannot wait to see where this game goes now that the past life experiences are out of the way! The designing of the exhibitions is going to be amazing!
Day 206 of asking drae for besiege back also again id like to apologise for this as usually id just leave a comment about the video itself instead of asking for something else. You do great work drae and I appreciate it.
You know, when I was a kid I always dreamed of being a paleontologist because I found dinosaurs to be so interesting. This game seems like it would be the perfect game for me all those years ago. (It was actually not that long ago)
I remember you playing the demo but I didn't realize how much time had passed I've been subscribed to you for over 2 years now and I've enjoyed every second so thank you for working so hard for all of your fans I'm pretty sure I speak for everyone when I say we really appreciate it
Did you know they sometimes lick the fossils to differentiate it from the surrounding rocks. Apparently fossils have a different texture to it then the rock around it.
For a game that's focused on digging up long-dead animals, I'm impressed that they put in the time and effort to make a story, and even car stuff.... Gosh, why am I still a mobile gamer..
Edit: Not trying to spoil, you'll never find this while exploring and it adds something crazy to the storyline!! In Planet Crafter, there's a _very_ hard to find HUGE secret directly across from your base! If you're standing in the right corner of your base facing the lake, it's *_almost_* directly southeast (hair towards south-southeast). Also between southeast and south-southeast from that osmium cave entrance. Head that direction, and against the cliff (on the lake, to the right of aluminum fields) you'll see an outcrop with rocks (med/lg rocks instead of just cliff). Towards the left side of the outcrop on the lake floor, there's a rectangular-ish rock that's potentially removable. No spoilers, it'll make for a phenomenal title!! Again, very hard to find!
I love how real it was, the 1 year after graduating with a high GPA, and not only no job in the field of study, but no job at all. Hahaha, so real, and I love it!
I love this style of let’s play. So many people get it wrong and just record a 30 minute in edited clip of them playing the game and it’s the most boring shit ever. There’s no commentary, they show all of the extremely boring shit nobody wants to see. I absolutely love channels that play games and post videos like this.
I admit, I was going to laugh if the last minute was you delivering pizzas as the only job to find. It's a curious game for sure. Hope to see some more of it. Thanks for the video!
I have decided to binge watch your entire channel because i love your videos and i have lots of free time rn. I just finished an AP exam for Music theory and composition. I’ll make sure to like em all too and I’ll let a few ads play through for yah😂
I love dinosaurs I personally prefer that.and we have much to discover and I didn't forget about your channel Drae you always make me smile😎 keep it up in the near future you're videos will be even better and bigger and more fantastic as specifically the tear down vids and beam N g drive video's oh and Drae don't forget about power washing simulator
I think where that is going, storyline I mean, is this kid is going to have to dig these up himself by doing research to find locations to gain experience.
so far all simulators you have shown have been preset animations galore, they realy feel like mobile games with no procedural aspect and extremly linear. the only thing that feels a tiny bit like the player has control over, are the painting parts (any part of the game where you go over a surface with the mouse and see it change texture/shader) accompanied with the ability to place decorations on a very confined area. im still waiting for a true simulator that isnt so extremly linear. for a linear experience i could just as well play portal 1 and feel more under control of my inputs the only thing that makes this a bit more acceptable is the Story-ish aspect, with the narrator.
Hey Drae, here's some follow up for your question about radioactive bones. Some bones are slightly radioactive! Bones from the Morrison Formation (Jurassic period of North America) often contain traces of uraninite (UO2 or U3O8). Skeletons of Allosaurus and Stegosaurus have been discovered just by prospectors with Geiger counters. -Geologist subscriber
game looks fun but is there a chance you had hdr on (because the colors look very unsaturated and that what recordings look like when you have hdr on and record via OBS)
I’ve never worked or seen fossils but what I know about radiation is that certain radiations have different years of half-lifes so you can tell how many Half lifes have gone by which equals how old is the fossil and that can help to figure out what period The creature lived in and to figure out how many half lifes has gone by you have to look at the radiated particles and compare them to how many non-radiated particles there are which is pretty much the radiated particles that overtime become non-radiated but you have to make sure that you look at a specific type of radiation because each different type of radiation has a different half-life like how carbon 14 has about a half life of 6000 years and uranium-238 has a half-life of 4,500,000,000 so it just depends on the fossil and you probably wouldn’t use carbon 14 to find the age of a jurassic period Creature because it’s too old
I don't really like the game shows you where to place each piece. A big part of paleontology is accidentally putting a skeleton together wrong, and then going down in history as discovering a "new" species, only for your mistake to be revealed decades later.
The variety in this channel goes from the most detailed and meticulous games to just blowing things up for fun. I dig it
careful there is a pun in there
@@kaiburns4257 who know you may find it if you dig around
Drae does amazing at keeping himself and us entertained
Archaeology postgrad here. I can confirm that "diggy stick", "stony stick", and "scanny lawnmower thing" are all technical terms used in the field.

They're at
You know, when I was a kid I always dreamed of being a paleontologist because I found dinosaurs to be so interesting. This game seems like it would be the perfect game for me all those years ago. (It was actually not that long ago)
I love dinosaurs too I personally think they're fascinating creatures cause they're so long ago and we have much to discover
This game definitely came a long way from the demo. I would love to see where it takes us.
1:36
Ahhh, the very famous Penisosaures, ask to Real Civil Engineer, he's the pro on this kind of dinos
When you say it like that, it sounds less like the strongest shape than the preferred shape. (Well intended joke)
"I dont know what kind of job we have...." all I was expecting was drae to just say "welcome back to power wash simulator"
I am extremely excited to see where this series goes. I love this
"What am I? A child?"
Are you sure you really want to ask that Drae?
Lol and he says that just literally after drawing a picture of "bat and balls".
I do agree the story does grab you in I can’t wait until you play more of this to see how this guys life turns out.
I would love to see more of this and keep on making good vids

I need much more of this content this game looks so good now
Play more this is one of my favorite series in a while
Drae please do more videos on this game it seems that there's a story line and I want to find out about the story line
Did you know they sometimes lick the fossils to differentiate it from the surrounding rocks. Apparently fossils have a different texture to it then the rock around it.
“So, you dig up- dig up dynuhsars?”
[Jeff Goldblum laugh]
Always heard it as dyna-sours. The candy that eats you! Life, uh, finds a way.
For a game that's focused on digging up long-dead animals, I'm impressed that they put in the time and effort to make a story, and even car stuff....

Get yourself a PC and Steam. It's worth it.

@@Ryan-xh7pe You mean "what is it"? Not gonna spoil it, Drae will just have to find it and share his findings

this was pretty enjoyable the tutorial backstory wasnt annoying

I love how real it was, the 1 year after graduating with a high GPA, and not only no job in the field of study, but no job at all. Hahaha, so real, and I love it!
I just want a compilation of drae saying passive aggressive and oddly sexyal things like yeah polish them fossils and things like that

This is cool. I myself collect fossils and artifacts. Not to this extent but for example I have several small skeletons and a few small obelisks.
deff like this game and i think you should play more.
Montana Bones, paleontologist extraordinaire.
i love that the jeep is jurassic park green.
So, do archeologists actually recreate a single dinosaur skeleton from pieces of different creatures?
See that you like UEBS 2, you should probably try Mount & Blade 2, there are much smaller battle but they are also really enjoyable
I’ve always found Dinos cool, this looks epic!
Day 137 of asking Drae if he has played Outer Wilds and to play it if he hasn’t.
"can I pick this up?" he said of the 300kg log
I love your videos everyone has scribe to your channel
It's actually true that dinosaur bones emit radiation
Dude how could you leave us at such a cliffhanger >.
Super cool game... Kepp it up Drae
